Q: Why is the regular smaller and more expensive?

Thanks for asking and nice to "meat" you. The Regular size is 4 oz vs the Grass-Fed that is 2 oz. The Regular is more expensive because it has more delicious ounces of beef biltong. The Grass-Fed is a little more expensive per ounce because Grass-Fed cows are more expensive to raise and thus, the beef is more expensive too. Hope this helps! Ayoba-Yo Biltong has 16g of protein per ounce. That is more than the leading jerky. The reason for this is that our unique Biltong air-drying process leaves more of the muscle fibers intact (vs low temp cooking in jerky) and therefore less of the protein is broken down.
