Zinc Oxide 50mg - 100 Tablets Per Bottle

As a caretaker for a disabled person, we both (them and myself) have to keep our immune systems at it's best in order to keep away any germs that could make us sick. With their condition, their immune system has been compromised enough that a simple cold for one person will mean pneumonia and hospital time for them. We both take zinc on a regular basis, and when I do get sick and have to quarantine myself until I'm better, zinc is the best thing I have found. I have tried zinc lozenges, but I can't stand the taste, so I opt for the traditional pills. They are easy to take and really make a huge difference. It helps me get better much quicker than without it and when I take it daily, it has helped me stay well for long periods of time. At one point, it had been two years before I got a cold, and even then it only lasted a few days. Zinc is such a simple way to keep yourself healthy, especially in cold and flu season. So far so good, I have been taking this one for a while now and I feel great. This is for my hubby and I think it is ok. There isn't much to say about zinc.

I am taking Zinc for immune support and the first day I got the pill I had/have strep. Today has been a very up and down day. This morning when I took the pill my nose was running and my throat was KILLING me. Since I've taken the pill I've been feeling more energy, my nose has stopped dripping like a leaky faucet, and my throat is no longer bothering me as much. I don't know if I should attribute this to the Zinc pill, but if that isn't it then I don't know what is. Early this morningI took a few other supplement and the runny nose started after I took them, but afterwards I took the zinc pill and felt a lot better. The pills are about the same size as a traditional Tylenol pill and are completely white.I received this product at discount, but that in no way affects my review.
