Not bad, seems to work fine. Tested rain water and spring water both came close in readings. need more time to mess with

Works well, takes a little longer than I would like to stabilize on the water PPM reading (about 30-45 seconds when other do it in 10 or less), but foes show that my filters were jot working as they should. Also with the thermometer feature I can make sure that part of my cooler is working properly.

But it turns out that the shipest water has the least TDS. It doesn't make any sense. I mean it is hard to believe that so, i am not sure if this it's working right. I have to try again.

I like this meter, it works well and shows the solids content of my tap water and filtered water appliances. I just wish it came with an explanation about what the numbers mean and what is a bad reading and what is a good reading. I found that my tap water had a reading of 36 and my refrigerator with a new filter had a reading of 34. A gallon jug of pure filtered water had a reading of 1. Now if I only had a clue what that meant health wise. But I think the pure water looks like it's the best to drink and it is what I already give to my pets. It will be useful to check my water filters to know when to change them on my appliances since I will do a reading when I first install the filters and check the numbers for change as time passes.

Don't bother, get the full test kits and take the time to do the work.
