Installation was a breeze and the grips were correctly sized, matching the frame wonderfully. They are plastic, so your grip might not be as sticky as you're used to. However, it still holds well in the hand. For this 5th generation sailor, this upgrade was well worth it.

Fit well and look okay. I'm satisfied.

I bought this as a gift to myself for my retirement from the Navy just a week ago. I didn't own a 1911 until just a few days ago, and it went on perfectly! I don't really think of it as a "presentation piece" but more of a commemorative of a chapter in my life. That's fine because "presentation pieces" are just safe-queens, and I don't want to ever own a safe-queen. Feels good in the hand. I love how the white grips stand out against a black pistol, and the logo really stands out. I can't wait to shoot it!

These grips are sharp looking on your 1911. The Navy seal looks really good makes your gun stand out at the range form other 1911. And for you gentlemen less fortunate not being in the Navy they also have the other branches.
