The Carmel Valley Outfitters Sleep Tight Strap System was purposely designed to address common issues with existing gear. We chose tubular polyester as our webbing material due to its' fantastic properties, ie. break strength of 2,200 lbs, water, mildew, UV light, and abrasion resistance. Not only is it strong and perfect for the demanding outdoor environment, it also doesn't stretch. No more waking up with your bottom hanging in a mud puddle. We also added a bit of length and more anchor points than most products out there. Each strap is 10 feet long with 20 connection points. This allows for much more versatility and adjustment of your hammock so you can find that perfect, relaxing position no matter what you decide to hang from. We believe in enjoying nature with minimal impact. We chose 1 inch for the strap width because this provides enough surface area to distribute the weight on the tree without damaging the bark. It also provides a large amount of friction between the strap and tree. Your strap will stay where you put it. We also believe in standing behind the outdoor gear we make.
