I read some reviews that this aluminum foil isn't as durable as others but so far I haven't had any issues. It's not a heavy foil but it works for what I've used it for so far, mostly just light covering of bowls of food.

Love the foil, hate the price!
I hear so often that "there just isn't a 'market' for recycled finished products in the USA." Yesssss, there is! We WANT to buy recycled products, but they make them prohibitively expensive. I was buying this in my local grocery store for under five bucks, for a very long time. Then they stopped carrying it, and I looked for it online. Last time I purchased it, I paid over eleven bucks for the same roll that I'd been buying for under five. Now I see prices have come down a little, but they are still too high. I"ll opt for a 200 ft. roll for just over eleven bucks this time, rather than pay nine bucks for 50 ft. Although I love this product, I may have to go back to the regular stuff if the price doesn't come down a LOT. All of these companies think that Americans will pay whatever price they set. Well, no.... our paychecks aren't going up, so we will be redefining "need vs. want." Unfortunately, I want to buy recycled aluminum foil, but I don't need to. Our plant will suffer as a result of this unchecked corporate greed.

Excellent for what it is.
Please be aware that recycled aluminum foil is never as heavy-duty as what's become standard in stores, heavy-duty virgin aluminum foil. That said, this is the sturdiest recycled aluminum foil I've come across, and more than thick enough for daily household tasks. If I were taking it camping to make food pockets for the fire, I'd double layer it. But really, how likely are you to take your household aluminum foil camping?Virgin aluminum is easily one of the most energy-intensive products we use in our day-to-day lives, with roughly 30% of its cost being in ore-extraction energy consumption. Fortunately it's 100% recyclable, and at a thin sliver of the original energy investment. Per unit of effort invested, recycling aluminum and using recycled aluminum products packs a huge carbon-saving punch.

This is kind of flimsy foil but since I appreciate it being recycled I'm ok with that. If you aren't expecting it though you might be disgruntled with it. Just a heads up

It's aluminum foil.
Maybe slightly thinner than "normal" foil, but works just fine for all the standard uses (lining baking sheets, wrapping potatoes, etc).
