Campbell Biology 12th Edition

An excellent and very comprehensive biology textbook, suitable for much more than just a first-year two-semester course in biology. In hardcopy book form it is quite a hefty tome.

For my daughter, who is gearing up for her upcoming events, this book has proven to be an indispensable tool.What really stands out about Campbell Biology for Olympiad preparation is how thoroughly it aligns with the core principles and topics covered in Science Olympiad events. The book includes not only fundamental biology concepts but also a deep dive into experimental methods, data analysis, and critical thinking skills—exactly what my daughter needs to excel in the problem-solving and hands-on tasks that the competition demands.

The binding was loose from the first few pages on arrival, it would've easily ripped away from the rest of the book if I'd opened it the wrong way. I assume a bit of dry rot is the culprit. Luckily I did not open it incorrectly and immediately noticed the cover trying to escape the rest of the literature. I will probably glue it back eventually for now I don't have to carry the book everyday and so it isn't in any danger.

Wow I spent 300$ on a used dirty rental book. If zero stars were a thing then i would rate it that.

But why was I given a rental edition when I fully bought it?
