Great way to add cable movements to a home gym
I have been using this since April 2023. If you just want something to do high to low cable movements this is fantastic (as long as you have your own plates). This fits standard size plates so if you want to use olympic ones either purchase a pin for those or get a sleeve to add to the included one. I have this installed in my garage that I converted to a gym. I purchased a steel loop from B&Q that has a bolt on it. Drilled a hole in the wooden beams in the ceiling to fit the loop and hooked the pulley to that. Works a dream. One of the best things about it is how simple and cheap it is to purchase extras to enhance the system. I have recently bought a second steel loop on a bolt and a steel loop on a bracket as well as a second pulley and a second cable. I then put the second loop on a bolt to a different point in the ceiling so I can attach the second cable to the first one and the second pulley to the second loop and have a true vertical pull for lat pull downs (otherwise the weights would slam into you). I also attached the loop in a bracket to the wall lower down (about 3 bricks high from the floor). This way I can attached the second cable here and have low to high movements as well. So with all this I can get pretty much the full movements available on most cable machines for a much cheaper price. As well as this its really easy and cheap to replace any parts should they break. The other advantage is it takes up hardly any space and can just be moved out the way meaning you don't have to permanently take up space in your home gym like a large cable machine would.

100kg capacity what is there not to like!!
Buying a cable pulley system online can be a bit of minefield when there are so many variants available. Many are either thin strand cables or some a rope but most common of all is that none have the max capacity of this model which very welcoming is around 100kg. I have had a few of these cable pulleys but this model due to its overall build quality sits nicely there at the top in the list. The plastic-coated cable is as can be expected, smooth and noise-free too. The pulley solid as a rock so far, the cable rope rolls effortlessly through the range enabling smooth reps when performing a variety of exercises whether triceps extensions, pushdowns or face pulls and rope lat pulldowns. For me, the piece de resistance is the loading pin. This is where the strength is compared to all the other variants I have tried. It's solid enough to load close to the claimed 100kg, providing not using oversized plates. Carabiners are heavy duty so will withstand a hard life in my gym with no sign of failing. The test will be the small buckles as everything else is quality. The rope well the ubiquitous rope often a standard size and weight and this is no different, works perfectly for all those pulling and pushing exercises and as comfortable and easy to hold as can be in the hands. The only thing that I did have questions about at first was the hanging strap, well those questions were soon answered after the first session and having wrapped the strap around the pullup bar on the power rack, solid and easily can handle the weight I have added to the plate loading pin. Yes, it's more expensive than we shall the beginner's versions but the included components are a different standard and quality altogether and this enables a heavier weight to be used.

Excellent pulley system, well made, with odd instructions!
This is an excellent pulley system and very well made for the price. Be aware of needing something to attach it to. Most ideally a bar of some kind. It sounds intuitive, but could catch some people out! Also, this is compatible with 1" weight plates, not 2" Olympic plates. Though I get around this by putting a 1" plate on first and then any 2" plates on top, so it's fine if you have a mix, just not if you only have 2" plates. The instructions are very strange and a little hard to understand. However, it's easy enough to put together and only took 5-10 minutes between unpacking and first use.

Excellent high quality equipment - a must have for your home gym!
Brilliant addition to our home gym! Extremely sturdy and excellent quality! We have had very heavy weight on this and use it pretty much everyday - myself and my fiancรฉ and it is still in perfect condition ! The great thing about this one unlike others available is that you can easily adjust the length of the cable. I would have liked the option of upgrading to more accessories eg lay pull down bar etc but the rope is excellent and the quality of the rope alone is brilliant ! Highly recommend

Wish I'd gone for one of the cheaper ones
As I was looking through all these pulley systems, I assumed this one might have been higher quality due to the pricing and glowing reviews. I was wrong. It's OK at best. Olympic plates don't work well with the loading pin as they move around. I've had to stuff something in the hole to stop this. It also swings a lot when you're lifting the plates. They don't provide washers for the bolts so they will no doubt come loose at some point. The rope is good quality, but overall this is a definite 'meh' so go for one of the cheaper ones advertised, wish I had!

Exactly What I Needed
I've been working out for 30 years at gyms. I decided to discontinue my membership this year due both to cost and the environment not really being suitable for me any more (mainly due to "influencers" and their filming themselves and the young self-absorbed women becoming intolerable) so one machine I was going to miss was the tricep pully-push-down machine that I've used since the 90's. I assumed I'd have to go to the local hardware store and just build this myself. Then it occurred to me to just try Amazon to see if they had something already made that I could just hang up with little to no assembly. And I found this. It was exactly what I needed. I've attached it to a main support beam in my house, which has worked perfectly. I had to add some additional steel clips to get it to fit around it correctly, but it worked. NOTE: I reversed the ends of the cable, as one of the video promotions here also shows; I put the end of the cable that we have to put the locking mechanisms (fasteners) on, on MY handle end, not on the weight end. REASON: I do not know what is under/in that ball, on the other end. Meaning, I don't know how strong/secure it is. At least this way if there is any slippage or breakage about to happen on the fastener end of the cable, I'll be able to see it immediately since I have the rope/grip right there in my hands. In my opinion, this is the safest way to operate it. I have tightened both the supplied locks/fasteners tightly and it hasn't slipped at all. The weight plates on the other end are close to the ground, and due to my low ceiling, I *do* have to bend my knees just a bit due to my (average) height to avoid the plates hitting the ground on my reps. A solution is of course to adjust the fasteners up the cable more, to shorten the cable length. But I've secured them so tightly, I don't want to re-loosen them. The one disadvantage is that if you're not measuring distances, you're eye-balling the distance the cable will offer you on the each end of your final set up. Mine was close enough that I need only bend my knees a little bit to get the full range of motion without the plates hitting the ground on each rep. VERY satisfied. It does exactly what I needed it to and the quality of the materials and overall design is plenty decent, and at a fair price. I need only 40lbs worth of plates at the bottom of the cable, so it's a small set up that works perfectly. Cheers to the creator of it, it mimics the gym pully the way I needed it to. .

Easy installation and very smooth. Tried with up to 30 kg and feels very very solid. Sometimes the weight might swing a bit but nothing to worry about
