Awesome Flavor - Minimal Calories and No Fizz
On extremely long runs (ultramarathons) I rely heavily on a different hydration product primarily because of the calories it provides. On shorter runs and in those later miles of ultras though, I prefer just a basic electrolyte drink as an alternative. Hüma's new hydration is now my go-to electrolyte drink.1. The first thing I noticed was how little you need for a water bottle. The scoop is tiny!2. There's no fizz (carbonation) so it doesn't bubble out through the top of your water bottle.3. Only 10 calories per serving so you're not loading on the calories while staying hydrated.4. They nailed the flavor as well, tasty and not too sweet. (only one flavor for now - hopefully they have more planned)The label shows that each serving only has 1g of sugar and that it's all natural and vegan as well. And remember, Hüma is a company started by US Veterans! :-)I've used Hüma Hydration on numerous runs, all between 1 and 3 hours in length and it was the perfect drink to take along, tastes great, no upset stomach and immediately refreshing!

Worth a try, a solid start for HUMA
This is an excellent hydration option to pair with their gels. HUMA offers a good blend of electrolytes using natural ingredients (vegan-friendly), dextrose, dissolves instantly, goes down easily, and tastes great. I'm an ultra distance trail runner and haven't been too satisfied with the electrolyte-only hydration options thus far. For example, GU Hydration, while at a lower price point per serving, includes corn starch (and cane sugar), which are much tougher ingredients for your body/liver to process and digest than dextrose. Nuun tablets are comparable...they use dextrose, are vegan, and are around the same price point per serving, but to get you your electrolytes they use lots of bi/carbonates (e.g., sodium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, etc.), which results in a fizz. That may be ok for shorter efforts, but for long outings my stomach can't handle it. Also, the tablets take too long to dissolve, so I don't get a steady proportion of electrolytes initially. I'd like to see other flavor options and perhaps other mediums (a quick-dissolve tablet, perhaps, so I can stash extra servings in my pack easily), but right now this is my go-to as long as I have calories taken care of.

Huma Hydration Drink Mix
I swear by Huma Energy Gels so I was excited to try the hydration mix. I am not a fan of the Raspberry Lemonade flavor when mixed as directed; one scoop of mix with 16 oz. of water. It doesn't really taste like lemonade and has a fake sugar (Stevia) after taste. The flavor was much better when mixed with 20 oz. of water but it is still missing the tartness of lemonade. I like to have a drink that isn't too sweet and provides a contrast to sweet energy gels, especially on long runs. I like that the powder dissolves well in water and doesn't leave chunks in the bottle. I also like that this drink mix doesn't upset my stomach!

Great Flavor and Natural, Plant based Ingredients
I’ve been searching for an electrolyte mix that doesn’t have a ton of sugar or calories but still tastes good and I have finally found it! I use Huma Gels regularly for triathlon training, cycling and hiking so I thought I would give this new product a try. I was a little worried I may not like the Stevia but this truly has a great, refreshing flavor, is not gritty and doesn’t have any after taste. I used it this weekend on two long hikes and it tasted great and kept me going even in the high temperatures. I’m glad there is a product that has the electrolytes needed, but no artificial ingredients, extremely low calorie and also quenches my thirst when working out. Great job Huma!

Arrived sealed but extremely clumped
Despite being sealed, this bottle arrived with the powder so clumped that most of it was just a solid block. Maybe it’s just moisture, but I am concerned it might have mold in it since it smelled a little off. Not worth risking and of course returns aren’t allowed so now I’m out 20 bucks. Will be sticking with my usual Ultima from now on

This is a tasty, easy way to add electrolytes to water
I love Huma gels so I thought I'd try their hydration packs. The lemon lime kind of reminds me of Country Time Lemonade from being a kid. The coconut is very coconut-y, so be sure to like coconut before you buy! But both flavors are quite palatable and easy to drink. I liked the fact there is barely any sugar in these. I don't need a bunch of junk when trying to get electrolytes. My dad and I were training for an endurance event and he doesn't like things like this, but he was able to drink these without much complaint!

I was skeptical but it’s honestly great👍🏽!
The media could not be loaded. I don’t write reviews but I have to share this.I’ve been scarred from the taste of liquid IV and the GU gel packets, but I’m so glad I went out on a whim and purchased this! It doesn’t have an aftertaste, it tastes just like a countrytime lemonade with a pinch of salt ( due to the electrolytes) !!- it mixes well ( make sure to use the correct amount of water)- doesn’t have an artificial tasteI’m excited to add this to my running routine!
