It's not Peckinpah
OK... I like/love Westerns, and I try and watch allmodern westerns that I can. This one interestedme, because, #1 it is a Mexican Western, and#2 the Sam Peckinpah style violence that Isaw on a Youtube clip... Sadly... It's not verygood...Apart from the Wild Bunch shoot out at the end,it's not that violent, and a bit boring to watch. It's more like a Spaghetti Western, which isn'ta bad thing, and the beginning is quite good,,but, the plot seems to drag on, and some scenesare so badly staged, you wonder what the directorwas doing? But, you do see a few naked ladies, and the end fight scene isn't too bad...Only watch, if you have to see every westernin the world...

I enjoyed this western
"Guns And Guts" is the story of 3 men, each with different reasons who team up kill a crooked sheriff. This mission proves more difficult than first imagined as he's based in a monastery guarded by his loyal and well armed men..This Mexican western starring Jorge Rivero (The New York Ripper) is an entertaining watch and is basically like a spaghetti western. When the 3 characters meet up you get the character development, humor between them, action as well as some sleaze. The direction is good and there's also some nice cimematography on show. The action is good and the highlight action scene comes at the end and it's brilliant. It's a "Wild Bunch" type slo mo blood bath when they take on the sheriff and his men and is an outstanding finale. In all a good western recommended to spaghetti western fans.
