A MUST!
I do not usually leave reviews BUT this has been AMAZING! My 2 year old lives the water but he hates his lifejacket and will scream and cry if I put it on him but if I bring him in the water without it he will freak and climb my body and scratch me, does not work. So I found this product. HE SWIMS! He likes that it's loose and he is free to kick his legs and turn to the side and splash while being safe and supported. And it's great that he can use it for 2 years because it's 2-4 years. I also think it's helping him learn to swim because he can kick his feet and move himself around the pool! Great product! Worth the price! **Does not provide any sunshade.

Great!
Got a stubborn toddler who wants to swim independently, but isn't quite ready? A toddler who repeatedly tries to give you heart attacks by wanting to hang loosely on the side of floats? A toddler who may wear a life jacket, but uses it like a barrel rolling in water? This is for yall! My daughter is stubbornly independent and quite the terror for a 2 year old. With this float, she can "swim" comfortably and safely on her own terms on the pool. The float gives her the ability to relax and to get around on her own, encouraging the motions for future swimming without the float. My daughter finds it very comfortable and has no pinching or discomfort.

Perfect for bigger kids
My son is 6 and paralyzed from the waist down. This is PERFECT for him. It’s comfortable for him, big enough to accommodate him with a life jacket on. Holds him steadily and safe in the water, great quality and seems to be durable like the infant one we precious have had.

Best ever
I love this floatation device. My toddler hated the puddle jumpers but loved sitting in baby floaties. The disadvantage was tipping and no arm room. This gives them the ability to float and also the ability to use their arms and legs to practice swimming. It also allows them to relax without the possibility of flipping over. My 30 pound almost 3 year old fits perfectly. It is a deep seat and comes up to her chest when she is floating. I highly recommend. Great quality and gives piece of mind where they can float next to you vs hanging on you in the pool.

Awesome float!
Material seems very sturdy. My son did great with it for the first time.. he is almost 2yrs and I think this float is perfect for this stage! He refuses to wear anything that he feels restricted in so I got this in hopes I can breath a little when we are in water. He is able to be secure while also having freedom to swim around & float forward or backward.

Ok but not as good as infant float
I got this float when my son grew out of the Swimways infant float. It functions mostly the same way. I knew it didn’t have a shade when I purchased it but I wish it had that option. I was most disappointed to find that it doesn’t have the same inflation and deflation technology as the infant float. It’s nearly impossible to get all of the air out to return it to the carrier. Overall it’s good, but could be better.

Fun water float
Quality and wonderful value for the money. Easy to inflate and keeps them securely in the float (with a life jacket) water safety of top of our minds.

Great floaty
Great floaty for toddlers. Can hold their weight and helps them work on swimming.

Great product!
I use this float for my special needs granddaughter who is almost 6 and about 45 lbs. She fits in it well; it holds her securely and safely. It allows her independence in the pool; she doesn't need to be carried around by an adult and she is learning to paddle and kick. This is our second one, the first one we had for almost 2 yrs; it tore at the seam but that was because her dad was throwing her up in the air, lifting her by the float itself. Ya, don't do that! Lol We pray that swimways will start making a larger size before she outgrows this one!

Maverick our 2 year old grandson loves
Grandson loves it. Starting kicking immediately and is learning to move his arms also. Better quality material too won’t easily get damaged.

The idea and model is great but
The product itself is a good model. The issue is that my son used it only twice because it was leaking air et deflating within 15 min. Also, we needed a pump to fill it with air so it’s not that ideal if you want to bring it during travel. We needed to carry the pump as well. Not good.
