KitchenAid Variable Speed Corded Hand Blender KHBV53, White

It arrived yesterday and I tried it right away. This is not my first blender, but comparing it to the one I had for many years I saw how amazing it is. One blade with variable speeds, comes apart to easily wash, no battery to charge and the assurance of the Kitchen Aid brand makes me happy with my choice. In the past, I had to hover over the surface of my pots to avoid damaging the surface. Having an easy on, easy off protector I have no issues. I like the larger container and lid that is included. I believe it is an excellent value. I recommend this product.

Works perfectly in soups, roasted vegetables, and fruits for smoothies

Love it! Of course, my favorite mixers are KitchenAid. This is just as powerful and as durable as you would expect from the brand.

Quieter than others, works great

I like how quiet and smooth this immersion blender is and the quality of materials used. It feels sturdy, super easy to clean, and came with a snap on plastic guard to protect coated pots/pans. Much improved design and ergonomics over my previous KitchenAid immersion blender (better grip and button placement). It's one speed and has no problem with hot or cold liquids. The covered container is also nice to have for smaller jobs. The head twist and clicks on/off firmly. Nice engagement between the motor shaft and the blender shaft too. Hope this helps! Easy to clean, sharp , very good for making puree food.

This is an excellent blender but was shipped in the product packaging. This was supposed to be a surprise gift for my wife who works from home. Not much of a surprise now, and package doesn't look good in a gift with shipping labels all over the box. I should have purchased locally for $2 more. The box is much prettier and would have been able to keep it a surprise.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and it’s his favorite cooking tool! We have a kitchen aid and hand mixer but this is just so useful especially when it comes to cleaning.

I bought this blender for two reasons, the base was metal not plastic and the ratings were very favourable. This immersion blender is top quality. It replaced a much less expensive variety where the base came unglued in hot liquid. Highly recommend.

It’s OK… but doesn’t pack a lot of “punch”… struggles and stalls to blend avocados if not nearly 100% ripe…. A little disappointing considering it’s Kichen Aid… expected a better product.

So happy with it. Grear performance and price. It crushes ice as well for my shakes.

Love the kitchenaide immersion blender. Super powerful and love that it has a protective guard that can go over the blade so it doesn't scratch the bottom of your pots.
