Attack on Titan Soundtrack

I've been listening to Shiro Sagisu's AMAZING score for the live-action "Attack on Titan" film(s) for the past few days, and it's by far one of the grandest film scores I've ever heard. It has haunting vocals, operatic movements, a beautiful mix of triumphant and sombre themes, and an amazing variety of sounds ranging from funeral choir to rock opera. I tend give Japan a lot of grief for some of the bizarre and genuinely disturbing things it puts out, but only the Japanese could ever create music so powerfully DIFFERENT as this. I especially love "God Have Mercy," "For the Dead," "Rise Up," and "Attack of Titans."The digital download of the album includes a .PDF of a 4-page booklet that I presume came as an insert with the CD. This does NOT appear to be the complete booklet, as I have seen accounts that the CD's booklet includes the English(!) lyrics sung by the choir. The lyrics are not included in the .PDF. My only experience of the franchise is the two-part live-action film adaptation, which I felt was exceptionally interesting in its aesthetics (particularly the tokusatsu elements) and perfectly decent in all other respects. (And of course I loved the music enough to make a note to myself to go look it up and buy it later.)

it was not the soundtrack i was expecting. i thought this would have the intro and ending theme songs from the anime and it did not. I am very unsatisfied with this soundtrack.

Collectible. Fun for every anime fan.

Would give a 5 Star, but side F had a scratch on the "Call Your Name" portion of the song.Besides that, absolutely loving the sound of Vinyl and the look of the Records ❤

One of the best film scores I've ever heard. You'll want to put it on repeat play all day long.

The music is grand and glorious. It makes me desperately want to see the movies.

Assolutamente stupendo. Colonna sonora composta dal bravissimo Shiro Sagisu (neon genesis evangelion, Kimagure Orange Road e Nadia).Un orchestra fantastica con musiche strepitose. Consigliatissimo.
