I have had aquariums in my home for over 50 years! Saying that, I have dealt with 'Test Strips' for the same amount of time lol... This is one of the finest test strips I have ever used! Easy to use, easy to read and an excellent tool for the aquarist!

Getting back into the hobby, I wanted a reliable test kit. I had heard a lot about the API Liquid Master Kit, but I went with this because it includes more measurements that matter for invertebrates, since water hardness is important. The color chart is detailed and the strips are easy to read. Color accuracy looks good to me and the chart is easy to match, so the results are simple to understand. The kit also feels well made and works consistently, so the Quality and Functionality have been great in my use. The chart and instructions are clear too, so the Information quality is solid. Overall it’s a great Value for money. I can’t comment on Water quality because I tested them in the included vial instead of directly in the tank as per the instructions, but the tests still worked perfectly for me.

These test strips seem to work really good for checking the levels of my aquariums. The colors are fairly easy to read and the extra strips that stay in a sealed packet for later use is really nice. I've purchased other strips that had a strong smell to them and worried about sticking them directly into my tanks but these don't have any weird scent to then and they work good! Will definitely purchase again when I get low on them. These are great for quick water testing without dealing with vials. Easy to use and read and feel are safe for my tanks.

These strips are much quicker and cheaper than buying an API Master Test kit. I love the convenience and time savings when testing my aquarium waters. It's good for those days when you just need a "snapshot" of those nitrate and nitrite levels. Of course, the strips aren't extremely accurate, not to the level of the liquid tests. Although you can supposedly get all the squares on the strips to show final results in two seconds, I find that the Nitrite and Nitrate for instance, lag several seconds to one minute before their colors have emerged fully. OTOH, if you wait too long the colors on many of these fade and distort. I'm never certain if the KH and GH readings are telling me the right results at two seconds or at the 1 minute mark. These colors do distort a lot in that time. I look at these test strips as handy indicators if my nitrite or nitrate levels have stayed within acceptable levels, but I can always check it against those liquid tests from my kit if there's an unexpected spike.

Very easy to use. I use this on multiple tanks. You can tell by the pictures which tank has been established and which tank was brand new. It helped a lot in getting all the numbers exactly where they needed to be.

love the test strips. especially for the price. came with chart literally everywhere lol, so no way to lose it like ever. also, separate 50ct refill strips in hermetic seal is very convenient for long term storage. keeping them in freezer stored practically indefinitely (if you do so too, make sure to warm them to room temperature before opening, otherwise condensation will reduce their accuracy). accuracy looks adequate with color changing pretty clear. they dont get soggy unlike some other brands and are generally pretty durable. very good quality for a prace and especially the amount. i love the small thermometer too, not scientific precision but good enough as a WOW factor

seems to work! Initial item I got appeared to have been a return, foil seal was punctured so no clue if / how many were missing.. got the replacement in a day or two and found out the original one I got also was missing the refill that comes with it.. So pretty sure I was missing 1/2 of the test strips at least. As long as no issues with refund, will stay at 5 stars.

Item as described. Love the strips in 2 seperate sealed containers which will keep the strips well for longer. Worked well.

Packaging is really well thought out with seperate bags of strips to keep fresh - plastic coated results sheet is great add! I am cycling so have been testing along with Api master kit and results are matching up. Dosing ammonia and also showed up so am comfortable to use these in between full tests to make it much quicker and easier to see if any issues.

Works perfectly. Saves me a trip to the pet store. Easy to learn what to do and only takes 60 seconds.

Does what it says, and quick delivery. pH indication for acid water could be improved by subdivision of indication level between pH 7 and pH 6

This kit was a good value as it measures the most important values in the aquarium in an all-in-one kit with lots of strips that will last a long time.
