EazLift - Telescopic Jack, Set of 2

Update December 2018: still awesome! Three months in constant use and they're looking great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using grease on the threads of these, and any screw jacks. They function much better with grease, including a small bead under the top support pad so the jack post can spin freely under the support pad. Bonus feature: I used four of these to hold my 5th wheel up while I temporarily retracted my landing gear to fix something, too. Worked great! Test would work but I believe in redundancy for safety. As for the top pin setting, these are for support and while they could lift your rv on their own, they're best used just to eliminate bouncing and the top setting will work fine, despite looking wobbly without a load. I wouldn't support anything with ONLY these jacks on the top setting for stability reasons, but they'll be fine providing partial support at maximum height. Original review, September 2018: I'm really happy that I purchased two pairs of these jack stands, they helped a lot with the bounce I was experiencing when walking around or when someone else was walking in the RV. I can even feel the difference between walking around, it feels more solid, like an actual foundation. I have a 35 foot Keystone Montana and replaced the jack stands behind the rear axle and another pair halfway between the front and back of the RV. I've uploaded a video to show what they are like. These looked better than the small aluminum model Camco also makes, and EACH is rated for 6000 lbs. I won't be doing it, but they could theoretically support the entire RV themselves. They do seem a little "loose" at full extension but I see no need to use that top pin setting. The internal screw adjusts a lot. Between these and x-chocks all I want to do is brace my super slide, and remove some sway up above the kingpin, and I'll get a strong arm kit or similar for that.

I use a pair of these centered along my 42' fifth wheel. Easy to set up and easy to tighten into place. They are NOT for lifting. Having shopped around for jacks for my trailers over the years, I see so many reviews for stabilizer jacks where they get bad ratings because people are morons and use these for lifting cars off the ground. When using them for stabilizing my fifth wheel, I have them on simple ground pads. I would not set these directly on the ground unless its a hard surface. Then tighten a few turns against the frame rails of the trailer. Now, no more bouncy feeling along the center of the trailer when inside and substantially cuts down on the rocking throughout. Really there is no getting rid of all the bounce in a trailer. All you can do is try to subdue it by locking the wheels/axles as best a possible and then putting as many stabilizer jacks as you can to support the frame. At this price, these help tremendously. Not that heavy, easy to use, and get the job done. I would buy again, if needed.

I purchased a used 5th wheel that didn’t have a leveling system for the back half. It seems like a lot of people that have the scissor jacks get them bent or ripped off so I wanted something that wasn’t permanently mounted. After purchasing these, I followed the advice of a previous reviewer, I leveled my 5th wheel with the landing gears, then set my jack stands in the back just against the camper frame. After lowering the nose with the landing gears, I then raised the jack stands up until they contacted the camper frame. Raising the landing gears back to level the camper was rock solid. This might seem like a lot of back and forth but it doesn’t take any longer to crank the scissor jack and check level from side to side. The middle step could be eliminated but I wanted to see how much pressure was on the rear stands. Some reviewers complain about only having 3 holes, get your drill out and put in all the holes you want. FYI, the distance between the bottom and middle hole is not twice the distance between the middle and top hole. Look at the pictures and you will see what I’m talking about. I also went to my auto parts store and purchased two freeze plugs that I mounted on the frame with sheet metal screws to act as a receiver for the head of the jack stand. Good camper jacks. And you won’t tear them off on the curb!

I used these to support and stabilize the rear of my 10,000 lb 35 foot RV. My old scissor jacks had been damaged and I have not yet decided on a permanent replacement. These looked great and worked really well but almost nothing is perfect. My biggest complaint is the lack of another adjustment hole for the pin. there is two holes in the lower part of the shaft and another at the top but there is a large gap between the lower set and the upper hole. The stand has three legs and the missing hole would hit at the top of one of the legs. It was done to save the hassle of cutting the top of the third leg and to save a little money. When I got back from my trip, I drilled a hole in the missing spot and it was a little hassle with a hand drill but makes the whole stand much easier and safer to use. (When I needed that adjustment, I had to compensate, I had to unscrew the threaded portion several inches to make it the correct height.) Make sure the ground under the stand is good and solid. Once it rained and the ground became soft and one side of the stand sank. This caused the stand to tilt and dropped the camper. The threaded shaft was bent because of the extended lift that I was using. It was not the jacks fault! Afterwards when the ground looked soft, I used a larger base under the stand for extra stability. I was able to cut the threaded shaft and just use the upper section so it is back in business. The missing adjustment hole is what keeps this from getting a 5 rating.

I had my large pop-up camper (sleeps 6, has a/c, toilet, shower, sink, stove) raised about 10 inches to increase clearance and my old aluminum jack stands were no longer tall enough to reach the frame to stabilize the camper. After attempting to build risers and deciding against it, I ordered 2 sets of these stands. They arrived quickly and worked as expected. I was concerned that they would be too wobbly when extended and while the camper does wobble a bit while all set up, it is an acceptable trade-off for the additional clearance. These are very well built, the pins are strong, they adjust easily and the 3-point base should be very stable on a variety of terrains. Would recommend to those looking for taller, stable stands.

Thay are very well built

These jacks are mainly for trailer leveling but I bought them for automotive use. I don't recommend using them as you would a jack stand because the tops are not designed to sit under an axle. I'm using them as an additional safety support while I remove a sub-frame. The thing I like about these over a jack stand is the screw top. After you get the car set on blocks where you want it, you can screw these up snug in whatever location you need them.

I bought two sets of these Jack's to put under our 35 foot fifth wheel RV to stabilize it at our seasonal campsite. Many others use cinder (cement) bricks. I liked these jacks as they can be easily adjusted if there is any shifting. Others who use blocks have to re-jack their trailer to add or remove shims to change the height. The Jack's are very well made and easy to adjust. There are two holes for quick adjustments for height and then the top is threaded to tighten as required. The improvement was immediate. The placed the jacks in front and behind the tires. This took any bounce out of the RV. Please noted that I used 3 inch thick, 18 in X 18 in cement slabs leveled on a small crushed rock pad to put underneath the jacks. This ensures the jacks will not get pushed into the ground over time. It is equally important to ensure that the top is in full contact with the steel i-beam frame of the trailer. The jacks are very well made, absolutely no concerns that they can take the weight of the trailer. Rated for 6,000 lbs.

I was unsure about how heavy these would be but when I received them found that they were more than adequate I use them to stabilize my slide on a 34 foot camper. They were great! the only thing i found that i don't like is the spinning top doesn't always sit where it's supposed to as you turn the adjustment, but all in all I'm very happy with my purchase.

these little stands did basically what i needed. i used to raise a deck and they lifted great. the only flaw is the handles bend easy once load gets heavy and they can break. i used a pipe to add extension which helped. but i knew this going in that were not as good as greenlee reel lifts for example. all they need would be better twist handles constructed better. otherwise job done for what i needed at the time and they are holding prefectly

I have used these to support my 3,000 lb truck camper. Taking the weight off the jacks has improved stability tremendously. They were easy to set up and with a 4X4 across the bottom of the camper, they are very study.
