This mug is the perfect way to start my day. It makes me smile, remembering all the great days I have had on the water & the many more to come. It allows me to keep up my skills in the winter. I am reminded of what I have to look forward to in the summer.

Fun gift very good quality -and fun tying to do the knots!!

My husband is buying his first sailboat, so I purchased this jug for him as a way to help him embrace all things nautical. The mug fits nicely in the hand, and the pattern was printed very well on the mug itself. It feels like it will hold up nicely to cleaning without the design coming off easily. I was impressed with the color and quality of the mug, and am excited to gift this to him.

I enjoy it and like the cleat handle. Has the fun reminders to study while your enjoying your coffee, especially if you’ve been out of season in tie-offs for a bit. I’d say if you’re debating this as a gift for someone that is not the nautical type, they’d likely still appreciate it if they enjoy working with their hands. Gives the brain something to focus on while enjoying their drink and recalling knot variations.

I got this for my husband for his birthday after we surprised him with a sailboat. It’s now his office mug and he fiddles with the ropes and cleat during phone calls, meetings, and down time. We also got him a rope tying set, so he ties the knots on the mug with those. He has a beard and mustache so he’s picky about how coffee cups drink, but has no issues with this one. His only issue is that the ceramic isn’t cool touch, so he said it’s kind of weird to hold it to drink out of because of the handle being shaped like a cleat, but for a boat lover, he’d definitely recommend and gift it.

I purchased this item for a friend who is an avid sailor. This gift was affordable, and great quality. My friend said that she has never seen anything like this, and is very excited to use this. The mug is super sturdy, and can also be great to use when bored. The design is also unique, and well thought out.

great gift, bought 2. Well made and great gift for boaters

Beim Frühstück, sowie sämtlichen anderen Mahlzeiten und Gelegenheiten ist die Tasse auf dem Boot wiederzufinden. Die Kinder trinken gerne aus dieser und werden immer wieder motiviert, die Knoten zu erlernen. Mit ein wenig Begleitung und Übung klappt es bei unserem großen Gut. Gerne liegt er auch in der Kajüte und übt für sich während er beispielsweise ein Hörspiel hört. Im Hafen, aber auch beim Segeln, kann er sein Wissen dann direkt praktisch umsetzen. Die einzige Kritik, welche ich jedoch als solche nicht anmahne ist, das die Tasse nur mit den Englischen Bezeichnungen der Knoten verfügbar ist. Eine deutschsprachige Ausführung wäre super, ist jedoch meiner Recherche entsprechend nicht verfügbar. Da ich in Englischer Sprache gekauft habe und es diesbezüglich nichts zu monieren gibt, fällt das nicht in die Wertung. Tolles Produkt und für den Segelnachwuch sehr zu empfehlen!
