Fast, easy and delicious
This is not as good as fresh cooked quinoa but it is fast and with just a little extra effort, it will rival fresh cooked. I chopped up some onions and cooked them just a bit in the microwave. Added chopped figs (dates would work just as well), sliced almonds, chopped dried papaya, a little salt and pepper and had a very filling meal that tasted good and was ready in 5 minutes. It can also be stir fried like rice, added to soups or stews or eaten right out of the container. More healthful than rice and easier to fix.I would recommend this quinoa to anyone.

Great product for busy people
Quinoa is a relatively new grain to the North American market, but it's an ancient staple in South America. And I'm really glad it's finally gotten popular, because it is an INCREDIBLE source of vegetable protein -- there are six grams of protein in each of these meal-size servings. It has a mild taste, just as rice does. It's a natural grain, and can be the equivalent of rice or potatoes in a traditional meal. But, there's so much more you can do with it! I've scrambled it into eggs, to provide more protein and volume. I've added it to soups, I've just heated it, thrown in blueberries, and had it with a little hazelnut milk as a breakfast cereal. I've had it warmed for lunch with a little salsa and avocado on it. I've added it to recipes for breads, muffins, health bars. I've used it to thicken casseroles, it's just a great, all-purpose pantry item. And, it's organic, and fully prepared. I like to mix a pack of this quinoa, with a pack of the McDougall's Lentil Curry that Amazon also carries -- and then I spoon that mix into romaine lettuce leaves, with a dollop of salsa, to make great tasting lettuce wraps for a fun frisky lunch. This ready-to-serve organic quinoa gets five stars and two thumbs up from me.

Great Nutrition and Usable Format for Quinoa
Once in awhile Costco has this product, but no reliably. Quinoa is supposed to be a superfood nutritionally, but don't expect any taste at all. It's a great substitute for rice or bulgar wheat in recipes. The advantage this product has is the ready-to-eat format. It heats well in the microwave in about a minute (you need to pull the top partially open), and it's fine to use in cold dishes as is. Although it costs more than buying dry quinoa and cooking it, the time factor is nice, and it is cooked the right amount already. It makes a killer tabouli that is gluten-free. Good stuff!

Wasting Money with this product...!!!
Since Costco don't have this product, I decided to buy from Amazon in order to ship to the military. This cooked quinoa tasted TERRIBLE (sour & salty or something....!), why using 10% salt...? I prefer to cook the fresh quinoa made by "Bob's Red Mill Organic Grain Quinoa" from Costco, it is very delicious. Costco Cooked Brown Rice (6 packs) made by [...] is very delicious and cost only $6.99. This cooked quinoa(12 packs) from the same company cost $20.31...!!! I NEVER take a chance buying the grocery online again...What is the RETURN POLICY..???Well, this cooked quinoa has to donate to Waste Management Landfill...gogo rice Organic Quinoa, 4.2-Ounce Containers (Pack of 12)

Flavor is a bit tart but it's quick and convenient
Quick, convenient, and versatile. The only thing I don't like is a kind of tart/bitter almost lemony flavor? It doesn't taste quite like plain quinoa. However, for the value and convenience for a quick and healthy lunch, it's a fair exchange and I have it on subscribe and save. I just always have to flavor it before eating it.

Awesome product -- now it's easy to add quinoa to your diet
Each of the containers has a large serving of quinoa (but only 170 calories) that is already perfectly cooked. I am not much of a cook myself and cooking dry quinoa, particularly just a single serving, didn't work for me. Since it is already perfectly cooked, but totally plain, I can use it as a really quick and healthier base for many things where white rice or brown rice would work. It can also be stirred into any strongly flavored sauced dish that needs a little toning down or extra hardiness or texture. I use it most often as a nice substitute for rice in what used to be a "rice bowl" with meat and other ingredients on top. I have now bought this item 3 times. As far as I have found, this is a completely unique product and no one else makes anything as flexible and convenient with quinoa.

Delicious. Fresh. A Lightly Textured Grain. Convenient.
I've made quinoa from scratch at home and it didn't turn out good. I tried this and it's great. A nice light texture, mild flavor. Heats in 1 minute. I ordered in September 2022, arrived promptly. Servings expire April 2023. Super convenient. So nice to have on hand to bulk up a meal.

Grab and Go protein and fiber
So convenient, so healthy and delicious too. I take this for lunch and sometimes eat it without heating with a salad and some chicken or sometimes I microwave it. I take my lunch most every day and keep a supply of these in the pantry for when I haven't had time to to cook my own. I like the texture as is but if you want it moister just add a little water before you microwave. The taste is good. Quinoa is easy to cook but I don't like the rinsing processing and if not done thoroughly there is a bitter taste - with this product the taste is always perfect and there is no mess from rinsing. Highly recommended- I have it on subscribe and save.
