Solid and a good price ...
Well made, attractive graphics, comfortable grips. My only objection is the plastic material used for the tip protectors is too slippery for hard surfaces; I would suggest including a set of rubber tips and adjust the price accordingly.REVISION TO MY REVIEW - After 5 months of use, the cam assembly in one of the lower shafts got loose and the press fitted stud came out; industrial adhesives haven't worked. Unless I can return it for exchange it will end up in the garbage.HAPPY TO SAY DENAZO CAME THROUGH!! - I did send an email to Amazon about my damaged, unrepairable pole; they in turn forwarded my email to Denazo, who immediately contacted me. After a couple of exchanges explaining what the problem was, Denazo offered to send me a new set of poles, which I received last Saturday. It's great to find a company with solid customer support, and I wish the best for this young company. To those of you non-believers who need spare parts or have issues with the product, use Amazon as your liaison and send an email requesting product refund/return. Explain clearly what the problem is; they will forward the email to Denazo; expect to hear from them a few days later.

but fortunately not really a big deal
Made all the difference in the world on a recent thru hike of the Art Loeb Trail in NC! Seriously, due to the recent heavy rains the trail was particularly deep, rutty, rocky and slippery and these things saved my ass countless times! I only had one problem with them - the rubber tips came off within 200 yards of the start. Unacceptable, but fortunately not really a big deal, as I doubt they'd last too long against the harsh environment, but still makes you go "hmmm" and wonder why the manufacturer can't easily improve that.Anyhow the springs/shocks worked well and considering the brutal 35 miles of hell I put them through they held up well. And not too heavy.I've been backpacking for 30 years and this was my first time using hiking poles. All I can say is that I don't know how I did it without them for so long. Absolutely vital equipment for me now.

Great, but one flaw
I very much enjoy this product. My friend turned me on to hiking poles. I never considered using them before, but found them very useful and this product of very good quality.I do however have a complaint, the soft tips that you use most commonly get lost very easily. I lost one on my friend's set of poles, I lost -both- of mine, and my girlfriend lost one of hers. What I mean by lost is just during a hike they come off, in my case some soft mossy ground just sucked them up never to be found again. Now I'm left with the hard pick-style tips, which are a big no-no in Arches National Park as you can damage the large rocks that are the foot-paths.I really wish the soft tips threaded onto the pole's tips, but they do not.Can I get improved replacements?

Great poles, loose tips
I would give the poles 5 stars as I love their feel, weight, adjustment options and two types of handle material. However, a tip fell off on my first hike with them... Fortunately I had purchased a replacement set. Then within a half hour another had fallen off! There went my whole replacement set (not cheap if this keeps happening). If anyone knows of replacement tips that fit these poles SNUGLY and don't come off, I'd like to hear about them.

Hiker's Assist
Purchased this item for my husband for Christmas. The item arrived exactly as described. My husband said they appeared to be made of good quality materials and he really loved the corked handles and he loved them, however, I was a little disappointed to hear from him that one of the tips came off during his first hike with them. It didn't seem to bother him tho as he said they could be replaced. But overall, I think I made a great purchase for him.

Like a trail angel
I recently bought this trekking poles and my first trekking poles I ever bought. I went for a backpacking trip last weekend and It was an icy trails and snowing. I made a mistake of not taking the snow crampons and I fell twice on the trails but after that I used these trekking poles as a support to hike the icy trails and surprisingly It saved me on the rest of my hike. These trekking poles are sturdy enough to give strong support and got really good Anti-shock feature. I don't have much knowledge on different types of trekking poles but so far I used It very hard on the trails and It's worked really great. Happy hiking:)

Solid build, great price
I carried these poles for my entire Appalachian Trail thru-hike. They held up incredibly well. I didn't have to replace any parts. The shocks and tips held up all the way to the end, which is something I've seen other hikers have issues with. My only complaint (from a thru-hiker perspective) is that these poles are heavy.

Very well made and designed nicely.
Item arrived on time and is exactly as described by seller. Poles came in a nice canvas bag & were easy to adjust for the height of the person. They are strong and seem well-made. We have used them already and found them to perform well. The seller also provided an extra set of pole tips in this order as a special.
