Such great quality. Nothing else compares.
My favorite. I have 3 of these (75V/20A) running all the time. Two of them turned down to 15amps charge rate to help preserve the life of the 12V/20Ah batteries, and one maxed out at 20A since it trickle charges a monstrous 12V/300Ah battery. I also have a couple slightly bigger Victron MPPT chargers (100V/30A charging 24V batteries) and a couple of 150V/40A competitor's brand MPPT units on a 48V system. All have been fine, but the Victrons are easily the most "set it and forget it". Add a Bluetooth dongle for easy configuration and monitoring from your phone. I use one dongle I can easily pop onto any of my 5 non-Bluetooth Victron controllers.

Simply the best brand controller out there.
Victron is the best. Buy this, a 50 AH Lithiuim Batt and a 50+ watt solar panel and run any landscape appliance like a fountain, small pool filter, lights, etc...

Pair with bluetooth dongle
Excellent value for a true mppt charge controller. Perfect pairing for my 2 100 watt panels wired in series I recommend getting the Victron bluetooth adapter for changing parameters and fine tuning things like streetlight function. Unit has many options for battery types, ability to charge, float, equalize if needed. Full adjustable charging parameters. First two days it was able to charge my battery to the first time in months. Much easier than using a cheap, knockoff “mppt” controller. Solid unit that doesn’t need fans to keep cool, so it’s quiet while doing it’s job.

Great little charge controller, great features, great support
Man, this thing is awesome, and an excellent deal for $99. * Reasonable setup, compact size. * Excellent default MPPT configuration, good MPPT performance, good battery maintenance features. * Most features configurable through Bluetooth interface (if you buy their extra Bluetooth adapter thing, which I did.) * iPhone app for monitoring panel output and charge state is actually "pretty good", which is incredible for most "smart" devices. * An actual, documented hardware interface, allowing for telemetry and configuration by whatever device you want? This completely blew my mind. I expected to have to hack into this thing, but instead they provide great documentation of how to interface with whatever you need. I'm thrilled with this little charge controller and will be buying Viltron charge controllers as I build up the rest of my array.

A capable unit with a few design flaws
I installed the Victron 75/15 BlueSolar and BT module a couple of months ago as part of a complete re-vamp of the solar installation on our camper. Combined with a Renogy 100w panel, I'm getting great results on keeping the house battery charged, and the data and control provided by the VictronConnect app is a huge improvement over the primitive info I had available before (a charge-indicator LED and a volt-meter). The unit is mostly easy to install (more on that later) and functions brilliantly. There are a few minor flaws that cost the overall review 1-star: 1) The Battery/PV connection points use the screw-down terminal sockets where you insert the bare-end of a wire into a slot and tighten the screw. Maximum is ~10AWG that will fit into this hole. If you're attempting any sort of parallel installation (either parallel PV panels, or in my case two parallel input cables so that I can swap between hard-wired and the panel detached from the roof and run with a long cable), you will need to get creative or use an outboard terminal block. Zero chance of jamming two braided 12AWG wires into one hole. I REALLY wish Victron had used a terminal block which accepted ring terminals. Most people could use a crimp tool, so this isn't a high barrier to a quality installation. The other issue with this slot-terminal system is that if you have the controller mounted low (like down in a utility cabinet, near your battery, per the instructions), it can be very hard to see the slots to correctly insert the wires. I've taken to dis-mounting the controller any time I need to deal with the wiring, then re-attaching it to the wall. Bummer. 2) The connector for the Bluetooth module is a small multi-pin flat connector that does not lock very securely. I have accidentally knocked it out on a couple of occasions just by putting tension on the cable. (And see above re: difficulty re-attaching cables if you can't see the bottom of the controller.) A locking connector here would be great. Some folks may opt for the other Victron unit that has built-in BT, but apparently the MOSFETs in that unit aren't the same, so it isn't strictly "outboard" vs "built-in" BT as a comparison. 3) The VictronConnect app overall is good, but has some usability issues. If you de-focus the app at all (i.e. switch to any other app, even briefly), it forces you to re-sync to the controller when you re-open the app. While trying to do something like read a Battery datasheet to transfer the critical charge parameters (max current, max voltage, etc.) to the Battery setup, this was a huge pain, as simply switching between the browser to see the parameters then switching back to the Battery setup in the app forced me to re-sync on EVERY context switch. This means re-selecting the controller (from a list of one, I guess some folks have several?), then re-selecting the Settings block, then re-opening the Battery tab, etc. etc. for each item. 4) As a general rule, blinking lights should be for things that demand your attention. The Bluetooth module blinks a bright-blue LED whenever you are NOT connected via BT. (And see #3 - this happens constantly!) I wanted to place this module someplace easy to see (so I could diagnose issues at a glance), but at night this blinking LED is bright enough to be annoying, so my choices are to bury the module inside a cabinet where it will not be visible, or to put a spot of tape over the LED - either solution nerfing the whole "at a glance" convenience.

Reliable and high quality
Works beautifully and made by a brand that I’m loyal to as I have other Victron products. Always reliable.

Unreliable - Requires an addional cable to reset properly and still won't last.
I've been running this charger for about 6 months now. Most of the time in my location, it will charge a 20Ah battery that I have connected to it. The battery will discharge at night when it powers a few lights, and then it charges up the next day. If the battery can't charge or doesn't charge to a point where it can power the lights all day. The Victron MPPT 75/15 will lose power. If it does, then it loses its calibration and will never charge the battery again until I physically connect a laptop to it using a USB cable and reset it. All it will do until then is flash a blue light until it's reset. Unplugging it from the solar panels and battery for several minutes does not reset it. One of the major points of a solar charge controller is to charge a battery. If I need to go reset it after every time it's cloudy for 3 or more days in a row. Then this charger is garbage. It's a waste of money. completely unreliable.

A high quality MPPT controller
I tested the unit with combinations of 1 , 2 and 3 panels in series. It performed well in all 3 tests. The current increased in almost the exact multiple of the number of panels. The only down side is not being able to adjust the voltage parameters of the charge. To monitor or adjust requires an additional part. (bluetooth adapter) This is a decent tradeoff, since the unit seemed to recognize the battery type and control correctly. Just dont know the float voltage setpoint. This is 2 to 3 times the price of a PWM model but truly worth it. Dont waist money on cheap PWM models, the MPPT will give you the output you deserve from your panels.

Be careful with the model number if you want bluetooth. The product line is confusing.
I had a 75/10 with bluetooth but bought this by accident. Blue solar. Blue Tooth. Blue plastic. The color name is overused, so remember that if you want bluetooth, look for the bluetooth symbol not the word Blue. Both versions work fine, but you will need to get a victron adapter and USB C cable to your smartphone in order to program it with the victron app, or get a remote display unit and program with the buttons (painful).

Fabulous kit from Victron
Exactly what you would expect from Victron, i have this paired with the larger MPPT, well worth buying the Bluetooth Dongle for both..
