On the back, you have a knob that allows you to directly control the mic's gain. Beneath the gain dial is the real crown jewel of this mic: a multipattern selector switch with four recording modes. Like the Snowball, you have an omnidirectional mode, for picking up sound from all directions, and a cardioid pattern, for focusing on sound directly in front of mic. Because the Yeti uses a unique, three-capsule design (instead of the two included on the Snowball or the single capsule used by most other microphones), the microphone offers two more recording patterns: a stereo mode, and a bidirectional mode that pulls sound from directly in front or behind the mic.

I'm not very overwhelmed and I just wanted to own it because it has been recommended to me everywhere but it didn't really got me what I actually expected. I wish there was more to toggle on sensitivity and customize to make my own sound crispier with no background noise at all. But maybe I'm just uneducated about the values and need to figure it out, in that case - the ui and usage should be made easier for a layman to be understanding the settings better. Although the quality and everything about mic itself is top notch. It's easy to install, easy to use and provides good quality to record voice. Abit expensive for what it's worth. I do like all the features provides on customisation app for the mic. I do recommend for starters.

I bought it bec I want to upload video and audio files to YouTube with a fine quality sounds and enough volumes to hear it from any device . I normally use my iPad to take vedio recordings but the quality of sounds good only in iPad when I hear , but when it is uploaded to YouTube the volume is not enough . So I m yet to experiment to it to give you my fee back . Also I would like to get warranty for this mic purchased from you via Amazon , how to go about it ? Pl guide me

Good microphone, legendary

I recently ordered the Blue Yeti USB Microphone for Recording from Amazon India with high hopes for its performance and quality. However, what I received was a far cry from what I expected. Firstly, the product I received was clearly used, with noticeable scratches and signs of wear and tear. It was evident that this was not a new item. Moreover, the absence of a guarantee card and user manual added to the disappointment. These are essential components that should accompany any new purchase, ensuring authenticity and providing guidance on usage. The packaging of the product was also subpar. It arrived in poor condition, lacking the protection necessary to safeguard the item during transit. This neglect in packaging reflects poorly on the seller's commitment to delivering quality products to their customers. What exacerbated the situation was the delay in receiving the product. Despite placing the order on April 10th, it took a frustratingly long 10 days for it to arrive. Such a lengthy wait only added to the anticipation, making the disappointment upon opening the package even more palpable. Overall, my experience with this purchase has been extremely unsatisfactory. As a consumer, I expect transparency, quality, and efficiency when making online purchases, none of which were met in this instance. I have since returned the product and am left feeling thoroughly disappointed. This ordeal serves as a cautionary tale for others considering purchasing from this seller.

I ordered this microphone, it arrived today, I will test it

Super easy to set up, the sound is excellent and the pickup pattern is easily adjusted to cut out background noise. I use the cardioid pattern and it has an excellent ability to pick up my voice off-axis without any BG noise. I particularly like the good onboard amp that solves line-level problems with USB mics and the mute control button is excellent. I use it in an overhead boom arm configuration just above a logitec camera and it works like a charm. Don't waste your time and money on XLR solutions unless you need super high-quality output and have a mixer board.

I teach online courses and I like to make lecture videos to explain concepts to my students. This microphone does a fabulous job of blocking out other noises and giving a really good voice quality for my videos. It is easy to use and I sometimes even travel with it although it’s a little bit bigger.
