The quality of this product is always consistently good. Biotin does work, but it takes a while at least six months before you notice something has changed.

I’ve been taking Nature Made Maximum Strength Biotin 5000 mcg for a while and have been very happy with it. The softgels are small and easy to swallow, which makes them simple to add into a daily routine. I appreciate that the bottle comes with 120 softgels, so it lasts a good amount of time and feels like solid value for the price. I’ve noticed gradual improvements in the strength of my nails and overall hair health. Of course, results aren’t overnight, but with consistent use this supplement has been a helpful addition to my routine.

If you’re going to use biotin, this is the product to use. I think it is the finest quality and it makes your hair super thick and shiny and it makes your skin more elastic and it makes your nails grow like crazy.

Today I opened the container of Nature Made Biotin 5000 mcg. Softgels that I purchased in March 2026. I've been buying it from Amazon for 5 years & it works well for my thinning hair. To my surprise the softgels are the wrong color. Instead of a pale pink, they are sort of an ugly yellow/tan/beige. I quickly went to the Amazon and Nature Made websites to learn than there has been a color change. It's not the wrong supplement. I suppose they removed the food dye to meet a new standard, for those who are allergic to food dyes, or maybe it's just a thing now. Not a deal breaker, but quite unappealing. I'll continue on. Nature Made is one of the few supplement brands I trust. It'll be OK.

Helping my cracking fingernails

Hair: This doesn't do much for my hair, but I'm older and hair thins as you age plus I've done a lot of damage by dying it. Nails: This product does make my fingernails grow faster but not by much and I haven't noticed them being stronger. There is good color to the nail beds though. To be fair, I'm a vegetarian which may inhibit such results. Skin: This is the reason I use it! Unlike many people, it doesn't cause acne for me - it keeps acne away. Without it, large acne spots get all over my chin and neck.So a few of these at once every other week works wonders. I've found it even works well at healing acne that has already developed. I've had a doctor compliment on my skin after taking several of these at once. Size and color of pills: These are pink and tiny. Easy to swallow, easy to distinguish from other supplements or medication you may be taking, and they don't upset my tummy if taken without food. Why Nature Made? Biotin is naturally found in a wide variety of foods which no one person could be completely allergic to, so if you experience acne when taking biotin, you should scrutinize the inactive ingredients. I've found other brands contain things like Titanium Dioxide, which is believed to be a carcinogen.

Great health benefits and no side effects. Cant really taste it when taking the pill which is healthful. Good value and overall benefits. It’s a daily take for me.
