Base Elements Oval Pendant Base, 1/Pkg, Silver Overlay, 17-Millimeter-by-23.33-Millimeter

I just actually opened the individual packages in order to use the pendant bases that I had received late last year. I could see the items (sufficiently, I thought) through the plastic packaging and so didn't feel the need to examine the items further until I needed to use them. Well, I will be examining items more closely from now on because on both of the pendant bases I purchased, the bail rings were not completely covered with the silver plating. I'm guessing that the base was dipped in the plating by being held by the ring that is on the top...where the plating was missing. Apparently the quality control was missing too. I can understand if it were one base, but it was two, which means it could be more. It is well beyond the return window for the items so the best I can do is write this review and hope that others heed the warning.
