So I bought these about a week ago mainly because when I wear a baseball cap it touches the top of my ears and causes my ears to stick out through my hair -- which is a huge pet peeve of mine lol. I was cautiously optimistic, considering these things are usually gimmicky. Well I received them in this cute little plastic container and followed the instructions to a t... Cleaned both the back of my ears and the place on my scalp where the other side of the tape would go with a makeup remover wipe. Placed the tape to the back of my ear first, then pressed my ear against my scalp for about 30 seconds to a minute, let go and oh my goodness it worked. I have slept, showered and worked out with these in place -- forgetting they are even there. I'm now on day 8 and I've only had to change one because I didn't like where I originally placed it. It was NOT easy to remove either. Love these so much I placed another order 5 days ago.

I'm sorry, but these did not work for me.They would not stick, and they're also very difficult to put in place without grabbing and pulling your hair

My daughters #1 confidence Booster! Who Knew there was/is a market for these??? I didn’t even know my Daughter was Investing Stock w. This Product until she ran out of these before her payday & she begged Me to purchase for her. It’s so sad that our Society has made us so conscious of our lil Flaws.😔 Someone~Sometime called my Daughter “Dumbo Ears” before & it stuck! Shes so self Aware that her ears are ?? I really don’t Know What they are to her… sadly. She says they stick out. (I don’t see it) ANYWAY.. these have (don’t laugh) but VELCRO & Tape to secure your ear closer to your Head. This Brand is the #1 for my Daughter so they must work awesome bcuz she’s more Pickier than I Am! However I’m not even gonna lie.. since I Had to Buy them for her 1X.. I can honestly Say “Damn they’re Expensive!! Better Put them on Subscription to save whatever $$ you can..” that’s not Being too harsh but just honest. I’m sure there’s competition coming for this whole concept to secure the Ear close to head & I’ll probably be the one to Find & TRY. For the Review Reader out there.. be careful what we joke around & pick w/ our kids about.. Everything is sooo much of a Huge Deal these days & right up there w/ the Cellphone going Dead. #itsreal

These work really well. The only downfall is if I sweat alot they do tend to start loosening around the edges, which then doesn't hold the ear back as much. If they were just a little stickier, it would hold better. But overall they work good. I am a 60 year old and have never wore my hair in a pony tail because of how badly my ears protruded. I wear these Otostick 24/7 and am not self-conscious at all!

I have used this product for I think about six years now, and it was a long process of trial and error getting them right, but I love using it, and wear it for special events I need to go to and they last for about two weeks. So I am going to share these tips with anyone using these so you don't have to make the same mistakes I had in the past or waste the product. Most people on here are saying that the Otostick only lasts for about 1 to 4 days before they start to experience soreness, pain, or it comes off. Mine usually last for about two weeks with no issues, so here is how to get them to last: 1. Take a shower. Girlies, you might as well get in a hair shower before putting on the otostick. It'll save you having to take as many hair showers with the otostick on, and it'll help cleanse the area where the adhesive sticks. 2. First, clip your hair out of the way! That includes baby hairs, which can get under the otostick and prevent them from sealing all the way, making them not last as long. You can place the otostick with its paper still on onto your ear to try to find a good spot where it isn't touching hair. 3. Cleanse the areas that the adhesive sticks to with alcohol. Let it dry. 4. Another product you can buy that helps a lot with the adhesive staying on is the JOBST "It Stays!" roll-on body fixative. Roll this onto your ear and head where the adhesive will go after you put the rubbing alcohol on ears. 5. I use two mirrors angled in a way that I can see the back of my ear when applying the otostick. First, peal off the paper on the side that is going on your ear. Do not peal off the other side yet. Try not to touch the sticky part. 6. Place the otostick onto your ear with the indented side facing forward and the curved back side following the curve of the back of your ear. MAKE SURE not to place the otostick too far down into the crevice where the ear meets your head, as this will cause pain later on. But also make sure NOT to have the sticky part attach to the very edge of the ear so that it curves around the outside lip of the ear. If the otostick isn't on something flat, and is on something that curves, the edges will lift sooner. There is a sweet spot to put the otostick that may be different for everyone. 7. Once you have the first side of the otostick attached, press hard on in and wait a few minutes. Then, take off the paper covering the adhesive on the other side to attach to your head. Now this part is important: DO NOT force the placement of this side. All you have to do is take your hand and press with a flat palm on your ear and wherever it naturally attaches to your head is where it should go! This is a mistake many people do and it leads to really painful soreness because they are forcing their ear to be put in a position it is not used to and it pulls on the ear skin. After adhering, press and hold the sticky part down to make sure it seals properly. 8. Repeat this process on the other ear. IMPORTANT: if your otostick starts to lift to wehere it is forming an air bubble opening to the outside, take them off immediately! If you keep them on, with sweat and showers, it can create a moist environment for bacteria to grow underneath. And then you will take them off and it will smell bad and be raw because the bacteria was basically eating away at your ear skin. This is a good product if you know how to use it, but be smart because infections anywhere near your head or cranial orifices is always a bad idea.

I wanted to try these because I don't like how my ears stick out. I tried them and they slightly made a difference but not enough to buy these regularly for cosmetic purposes. I could see them a little as well. They were easy to apply and remove. Pros: easy to apply and remove Cons: not a big difference in looks and slightly visible

Zunächst einmal muss man ganz ehrlich sagen, dass 20€ für 8 Otosticks recht teuer ist. Aber die Reaktion und Zufriedenheit meiner Freundin ist unbezahlbar. Vermutlich wird der Preis eines Tages sinken wenn es Konkurrenzprodukte gibt. Die kleinen Otosticks machen einen qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck. Wenn das Ohr und die Haut am Kopf sorgfältig gereinigt ist (wir haben erst mit Reinigungsschaum vom Müller und anschließend mit einem Alkoholdesinfektionstuch gereinigt und trocknen lassen) muss man die Otosticks erst ausrichten, die Folien der Klebepads abziehen und vorsichtig anbringen, damit nichts übersteht. Dann das Ohr kräftig gegen den Kopf drücken für 1-2min. Am besten zu zweit machen, meine Freundin hat zB ihre Haare hochgehalten während ich gereinigt und angebracht habe. Das Resultat ist umwerfend, man sieht die Otosticks absolut garnicht! Selbst wenn man davon weiß muss man schon sehr nahe kommen um sie zu entdecken. Sie fixieren die Ohren sehr sehr gut! Der Kleber hat uns sehr überrascht, da er keine Reizungen auslöst, aber trotzdem bombenfest hebt! Meine Freundin treibt viel Sport und deshalb steht sie an vielen Tagen zweimal unter der Dusche, die Pads halten trotzdem locker 7-10 Tage und mehr. Selbst als ein Otostick etwas deplatziert war und etwas überstand (einmal angeklebt kann mans nichtmehr verrücken) löste sich nach 4 Tagen leicht der Rand, das Otostick hielt dennoch 8 Tage durch. Ganz wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass die langen Tragezeiten vermutlich nur zu Stande kommen, weil meine Freundin zum Schlafen ein dünnes und angenehmes Stirnband trägt!!! Das ist sehr zu empfehlen um die Tragezeit zu verlängern. Ich persönlich finde es absolut nicht schlimm wenn bei jemanden die Ohren abstehen, aber da ich selber nicht betroffen bin, rede ich da niemandem was ein! Es ist aber richtig schön zu sehen, wie meine Freundin zum ersten Mal in der Öffentlichkeit oder beim Sport die Haare zurück bindet und sich dabei auch noch wohl fühlst!! Die Otosticks sind ein ganz klarer Geheimtipp, zB für besondere Anlässe etc. Auf Dauer dann aber doch eine teure Angelegenheit. Das Resultat ist dann doch eher ein Anreiz auf eine OP zu sparen. fantastici ,aderiscono una meraviglia,tanto che risultano anche un po’ difficili da togliere,durano anche 1 settimana dopo docce e lavaggi dei capelli tutti i giorni;unica pecca ,il costo un po’ elevato ed il fatto che le orecchie si indolenziscono un po’ se tenuti troppi giorni!
