Q: Are the parts all intact or have to be assembled? Appropriate for a 4 year old?

All parts are intact, no assembly necessary. Definitely appropriate for a 4 year old!

Q: Do these sink in water? Like I could put them in a fish tank and they won't float up?

These were a gift so I can't answer your question. If they were to float, you could put weights on the bottom of them (make sure the glue won't harm the fish) and set them into the stones or sand.

Q: Are the boosters detachable?

Rocket booster are, but I guess that it should not be: they felt sometimes, so I fixed them using high bond glue.

Q: Think there is anyway to hang these up with the solar system I get? Or will they be to heavy?

They are not very heavy and I think they'd be fine to hang up.
