little difficult to use on the first try.
I had difficulty getting the brownies released, especially those on the edge. The "metal" has also flacked on the side but I think that might have been my fault in getting them out. I have not said anything to the seller. I think it might have been my inexperience in using the pan. I will try it again and see if results are better. I did like the idea of the brownies being uniform in size, which was the whole idea. I had to do a little reshaping on some but it worked out okay.

Not what I expected at all
The brownies did not come out easily as you see on television and I had to use a brush to clean every little nook and cranny from this pan I'd rather use a regular pan and a knife is easier to clean and use

It did lay nice and flat but still leaked
The batter leaked all over the oven. What a disaster. I bent the bottom plate a little to fix it. It did lay nice and flat but still leaked. Through it out and went back to my old one.

Absolutely NOT magical.
First of all, the manufacturing of this is terrible. The pan showed up with the non-stick surface having multiple scratches in it from the get-go, so there's no way it would ultimately be 'non-stick' when making brownies in it. I decided to give it a shot anyway, because I really really wanted it to work. Of course I thoroughly washed every nook and cranny just in case it was a used one that got resold. So the other reviews mention that there's leakage because of the bottomless pan with an insert.Yes, there definitely is. One of the recommendations is to preheat the pan on a cookie sheet in the oven while you're preheating the oven, so when you add your brownie batter to the pan, the liquid doesn't leak. It still does, but not to a major puddle like some people had. Of course my brownie recipe handed down from my grandmother is a little less liquid-y than the boxed versions. Even so, there was still leakage. I did put this on a parchment lined cookie sheet to make sure the leakage stayed contained. That helped with the clean up (even though that was a minor part of the clean up compared to the rest. But I'll get to that.)Seemed to take the brownies a lot longer to bake with that set up, no doubt having the pan on the cookie sheet made the center slower to cook, so the outside edges baked nicely, the inside sections had me checking every 5 minutes until it looked done, and even then the final result was extra crunchy outside edges, too-soft center sections. So the insert itself is supposed to eliminate the need to cut your brownies into beautifully symmetrical squares, giving the outside of each brownie that glorious crunchy crust we all so enjoy. Yeah, about that. Not so much. The brownies get stuck to the old-fashioned ice cube tray insert like nobody's business. Doesn't matter if you've buttered or sprayed the you-know-what out of it to prevent sticking. It sticks. Horribly. It took way longer to slide a knife around each square to get it to release than it would have just to cut the darn things myself. I tried it while they were still warm from the oven, thinking there'd be a better chance while they're still pliable, but nope, didn't want to come out of there. Let's just say that when it was all said and done, the brownies weren't very pretty to look at.And don't get me started on the clean up after the disaster - every nook and cranny had residual brownie in them, I had to get a toothpick to clean out the seams and edges after soaking in hot soapy water for an inordinate amount of time. A normally quick batch of brownies lasted a few hours of madness. So I returned it the very next day and made a batch in my old 9x13 cake pan where the brownies turned out spectacular as usual. So unless you really enjoy wrestling with a pan that's supposed to make your life easier, do not even think about buying this. It's definitely not magic by any stretch of the imagination.

Not what I expected
I would not recommend this product because it's does not work as easily as shown. YOu have to use a lot of cooking spray and coat every part of the pan to keep the brownie from sticking and it still doessn't work that well. The cooking spray also changes the taste of your brownies. I end up using wax paper on the bottom to keep the brownie mix from leaking out of the tray.

Best brownie batch I have ever made!!
Everything was evenly cooked and they looked so perfect too! It was so easy to use. I just sprayed the pan and divider good. I put it on a cookie sheet for leakage just in case, but there wasn't any.

Only good for a few times.
It worked great the first few times but now everything sticks to it. No matter what cooking spray/oil & flour/or anything else you put in it.
