Since 2004, Alesana have earned a reputation for their energetic and memorable live shows, and the raw, honest intensity of their albums. In 2005, Alesana was the first band to join Tragic Hero Records in 2005 and soon released their breakthrough album On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax. With a musical style shifting between light and heavy sounds, Alesana have won a legion of fanatical fans, and their Epitaph debut A Place Where the Sun Is Silent will only build on that reputation.

First Alesana album I've listened too
I don't know why but I never got into Alesana until this album. Ever since listening to this one though I've been going back to discover their earlier albums and am absolutely falling in love with them. If you're like me and looking for a good Alesana album to start with pick this one.

A place where the sun is silent
You can tell this band never stops progressing. Awesome album from start to finish. They bring back jazz music in one of thier tracks, done so well. Great hits from the begining to end, just a must buy. You will not be disapointed. Can`t wait to hear the next album.

Favorite album
This is my favorite album of all time. Alesana's concept albums are incredible, and the fact that they are talented enough to make a musical version of Dante's Inferno is epic.

Not my favorite album from Alesana
Not my favorite album from Alesana, but that's only because I've obsessed over The Emptiness for years. Great purchase.

Alesana Does It Again!
I have loved Alesana since hearing their first demo songs in 2005 and my opinion hasn't changed a bit. One thing that has changed is their music, but I've always found it to be addicting even with the changes throughout the years. I fondly remember the screaming in "On Frail Wings of Vanity & Wax" and "...Myth," but the subtler style of "The Emptiness" and the story-line in the album really had me from the start."A Place Where the Sun is Silent" may have some wishing for more of the screaming and the low growls of Dennis and I have to admit that I do love those. But, the album is still amazing. Alesana always puts forth time and effort into their lyrics and their newest collaboration is no exception. This is my new favorite!

Back with a newer/different sound
Well I have to admit this album took a listen or two to get used to, but after listening from beginning to end, one will notice the true beauty of this piece of art. The only drawback to this album is the lack of screaming and growling from Dennis, which I always thought added that extra nudge on their previous albums. But at the end of the day, this album is a great investment.

Like
It wasn't their best album (in my opinion) but still a great one, indeed. I don't listen to it much, but when their songs come up on my ipod, I give it a go and am pleased.

A masterpiece
After a few delays, it finally got here. I was not in a hurry, so that was no problem. The album itself is fantastic, a masterpiece really, and it felt great to hold a physical copy for the first time.

Impresionado.
Altamente recomendado.Pd. Si no entendéis la letra buscadlas subtituladas :)
