Reliable, sturdy, breaks down for easy transport
My hubby uses this for Elk hunting and it's fabulous! Having the extra blade for wood (should a tree be in the way or they need to get some firewood) is a great idea. I really like the way it breaks down to fit in a very compact case that fits in his hunting pack.BTW - get the 18" size (which this is). I also looked at the Saw-1 but it's too small (11" I think) for big game.

Wyoming Saw
I bought the Wyoming saw for my husband. The Wyoming saw is the only saw I could find with all good reviews. As promised by other reviews, it is a great saw and works well. I purchased the longer saw because some of the reviewers stated that they wish that they had purchased the longer saw. The saw cuts well and is made with good quality construction.

It’s a great saw. Good for cutting smaller trees when camping, & cutting horns off game meat. Packs nice and doesn’t take up allot of room

Best Hunting Bone Saw
There is no better bone saw for hunting! I was sad when I lost my last one that I had for 18 years. This purchase is the replacement. I tried cutting the skull plate off an elk skull with a friends cheap saw after I lost mine and it just would not cut like the Wyoming saw! Highly recommend!

Worth the money

Read instructions
Read the instructions to change blades or get cut. The saw will bend if blade is over tightened at all. The simple solution would be to make the arbor a 1/4" longer. The wood blade should be protected to prevent cuts as it is very sharp and dangerous.
