Recently received. Full battery charge. GREAT Upright Black and Decker Vacuum Cleaner. Excellent on Carpets or hardwood flooring - Recommend purchasing. No Need to Run Battery all the way down. Battery has no memory. Charge when low or whenever. Don`t leave Battery in Charger even if unplugged. Remove after charging fully and store in a cool dry place

Works GREAT! Lasts about 15 minutes on our Black and Decker Leaf Blower which is what the battery that came with it lasts about. Fits well. Charging speed is okay … not slow but not fast. Light weight.

Ordered the first battery and it arrived in 3 days and it was new in a sealed factory packaging. As soon as it was plugged into the charger the red light on the charger was flashing rapidly indicating an issue with the battery, tried a different charger with the same issue. I reached out to the manufacturer and they agreed that the battery had an internal fault and recommended replacement or refund. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a new battery and requested that I return the defective one in 30 days. I received the new battery the next day and put on the charger and had the normal green flashing light that indicates it is taking the charge, it was probably a full 6 hours on the charger until it had a full charge. Kudos to Black and Decker and Amazon for their quick response and service giving me a battery that works within a day after contacting them. These aren’t cheap but I have a pair that I have used for over 5 years flawlessly and finally had to replace one.

I've looked high and low for a Black+Decker battery for my Black+Decker weed whacker that would fully snap in the slot and work, and the one Amazon sent me today works, and it made my day. The after market ones I bought work in my leaf blower, but not the weed whacker. According to Black+Decker support the same battery should work in both my devices. When I ordered the after market ones with the same code it worked in one device, but not the other. I was beginning to feel I'd never find a new battery to fit the weed whacker, and would have to toss it out. So I just want everyone to know to keep looking for the same model battery, you just might have to find an original Black+Decker battery to get it to work.

I love these batteries when they're fresh. They'll run a 20 Volt B+D weed trimmer or hedge pruner (Super tool!) for a long time. Pretty amazing. I cycle through a group of charged batteries so I always have spares. However, some of these seem to have a long life and take many recharges, some not so. But I do think I have had only one develop almost a no charge state. Another just doesn't get up to strength. When it's a new battery at full charge it has terrific power, say, running the weed trimmer. When the batteries get older, they may still charge properly but the output to the weed tool isn't as potent. The tool "works" but won't blaze through the tougher stuff.

I used this battery with a whipper snipper. For one particular job, I had to finish with a second battery. The 2.0AH battery lasted for the complete job. I have used B&D products before and found them reliable and long lasting. I had 2 1.5AH batteries stolen so I have now replaced them with 2 2.0AH ones.

I have a Black and Decker cordless vacuum. I bought it in 2021 and it doesn't get used too often as it's for the basement floor. I can't say exactly how many times the original battery was charged. I believe this battery is the same as the original. Lets say that in 4 years, I used the vacuum about 3 times per month. That's 144 charges and not from completely drained.
