Unisex Kreepsville Skull Backpack Black

Ok, i was pretty disappointed when i got the bag, because it looked like crap, dry and dull, unlike the picture.... So i asked the question above as to whether the back pack was glossy or dull. The resounding answer was dull, but after i read the tag that said "care of your latex bag" i said, wait a minute, latex.... Rubber???? As in rubber like car tires???So, i finish reading the tag, avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat, excessive moisture... Oil based products.... Mmm, kinda like car tires.... Rubber breaks down, oxidizes, hence the crappy dull finish when i unboxed it. So what to do?? I started looking for "rubber protectant", kept hitting tire care products, then looked at a few, and yup, UV protection, protects against oxidation... Found Mothers M-tech protectant, which has a nice cherry scent, and tested it out...Bingo!!!Now Mothers was my product of choice, but its not terribly shiny as you can see in the pictures, but it does make the rubber look nice and black and protects it from the sun and cracking and oxidizing. You can go full Armor All, or Black Magic, to get it nice and shiny, as i said, i choose Mothers because it smells glorious, nice cherry scent... Still, i might give it a coat of Armor All, before i go out, just to get that evil black gloss, but who knows...Over all, that was going to be my only complaint, but a little homework made everything right as rain.My pictures show the before application, during, and after so you can see the progression.Love the backpack, and now it looks fantastic.

The skull on the book bag is awesome. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it is very small like a child's book bag and that should probably be in the description. Also, the high quality of the skull does not match the poor quality of the bag, the straps are cheap. Considering the cost of this bag, I did expect better.

I love this bag, people around me cannot get enough nor stop talking about my bag. I'm wondering, do you have a raven one? I would definitely get it...

coolest backpack ever

I actually bought this through the vampire freaks website, but Kreepsville did really well with this one. The detail is incredible, and it is definitely a head turner. The largest inner pocket is a bit small and not fit for holding a laptop but perhaps a kindle/iPad. A laptop could fit in the pack itself which is padded nicely. I frequently travel with this backpack and use it for clothes and some books or laptop and books. Be prepared for the TSA to go through it every time (precheck or not). I don’t know if it’s the design itself or the way the bag is padded, but I have never made it through without having them going through it. Overall a wonderful bag.
