Why does the description says Dispozit?

Hi Shannon, I'm not totally sure what Dispozit means, but I'm going to guess it has something to do with them being paper on the outside and plastic coated on the inside. I have used both the paper and the plastic and I prefer the paper. The plastic isn't as stiff as the paper and it can rip easier. The paper is good except if you put too much liquid in it. It will hold some, but not a lot at once. I hope this was helpful. Good luck

How do you get these on without tearing??!!

The flaps on the upper part of the compactor bag fold over the metal bin. They do not tear when the bin is closed. I have had my trash compactor for at least 25 years and never had a problem.

Do these work with Kenmore trash mashers?

Kenmore is a Sears product. So Yes it will.

will these bags fit a GE Trash Compactor Model # GCG1500?

Hi Walter,Upon taking a quick look at the GE compactor, it looks like mine. I think there aren't but a very few manufacturers, making units for every appliance company. Check the dimensions & ck with a local appliance parts dealer like 1stsourceservall.com to see if universal bags will work. They have GE bags that say they fit all 15" wide compactors. I think these will fit all 15" wide compactors too.
