Krown Rookie Checker Skateboard

Cheap board. I'm a beginner and even I can tell this isn't a quality product. Buy if you're looking for a bargain bin board where you don't care what happens to it... Maybe???The board arrived in a box that was about 1/3 longer tham the lenght of the board and was poorly packaged inside. Protected by only a loose plastic bag and a single sheet of packaging paper. It was sliding around a lot inside the box, and while it didn't happen to me I can see how other people got the board in a damaged state. The design decal is also of poor quality. Bubbles on the sticker means it's basically just peeling off and the barcode stickers that were stuck to the board took some of the design with them when I peeled them off. It rides fine, I guess, but I'm just using it while the snow is melting and there's slush and salt everywhere so I don't ruin my good board.

Our son loves his board! He's "slightly" clumsy, so this board has had a lot of chances to break and so far so good! It's the perfect size for him, he's a little on the tall side for his age. The board seems well made and made with quality parts. My 39 year old(5ft10inch, 170 pd )hubby has used it several times(tricks,jumps, etc) and it was fine! I'm very happy with this product!!!

It's not a terrible board, overall. It's also a terrible board to learn on. If you're buying because you think you might want to learn skateboarding and you like the deck graphic, the price isn't bad.The wheels are very soft but really not all that bad. The trucks are kind of garbage and aren't really adjustable. They're low enough that you get wheel bite if you're more than about ~50 lbs. It doesn't roll very well and drift sets in quickly. With all that in mind, it's completely adequate if you're new or a kid testing the waters. It'll suffice for a short set of classes or something, but if you find that you enjoy skating at all, you're probably going to want to upgrade the trucks at minimum and possibly the wheels. So, by the time you put money into this kit, then upgrade the trucks and/or wheels, you're practically at the cost of a decent complete. If you think you'll be into skating and actually want to do it, spend the extra $ and buy a real complete from your local skate shop where you can stand on them and test them and/or get some input from the staff (who likely skate). If you're just testing the waters, or perhaps buying for a child, this may be ok.Something else to consider - learning to skate is hard. Having equipment that's not great doesn't make it easier and often leads to people quitting when they otherwise may not have.

Ok...I purchased many things on Amazon but this skateboard is the worst quality board I have ever seen. My dgtr took it out twice and the pain is chipping off all over it. The wheels are no longer grippy after 2 small sessions with it. It looks like its going to break in half. I want my money back. I dont have the time to pack it up and bring it to the post office. Its just so cheap....really disappointed.

Great Board Out Of The Box! Used to skate was skating for about 7 years before i stopped. 26 now just got the itch to start skating again. Now i know you could get a good enjoi or almost complete off SkateWarehouse for about $80, but thats double the price off this complete. Out of the box nice deck 7 layer maple no defects as far as i could tell. Trucks seem durable lightweight and im pretty sure they would hold up for quite a while before they decided to snap. Wheels are a little softer then expected but still ride extremely smooth and the bearings are fast and smooth. Just add a little bit of oil like speed cream or 3 in 1 oil, not WD-40 though and its really hard to tell the diffrence between name brand bearings and these. Overall solid, fast board with great pop. Have fun Skating!

I bought this for my 9 year old son’s birthday. He loved the checkerboard design. But the wheels are crooked so it doesn’t run straight. We didn’t know this until after our return window closed (of course!) when my son went to skateboarding camp. The instructor noticed the problem immediately and told my son to use a rental instead. So we have a complete pos taking up room in our house and we’ll have to buy something else.

I like how smoothly the skateboard rolls. The grip tape is very strong. However, the skateboard can be improved by not putting on the trucks so tight.

My daughter showed some interest for skateboarding so I got this one for her. It's defenitely not a "Pro" level board but much better than mosh of the cheap boards from big bucks store. I would recomend it to every parent looking for a decent board for their kids without breaking the bank.

I bought it for my 10 yrs old kid. Arrived on time, actually pretty quick. Packaging was good. Its super durable, made of very nice material/wood. Long enough for a tall kid. I would definitely recommend it. Easy to carry around. Worth the price.

Got this for my daughter. It was better than expected, wheels have good bounce and absorption and glides really smoothly. She loves it and we are both extremely happy with our purchase.

The board showed up cracked down the side and cracks on the bottom , unfortunately it was a Christmas gift and I didn’t notice until wrapping it Christmas so it was to late to return . Sad kid and crap quality .

Board seems sturdy enough and looks good. Only issue are the wheels. They wouldn’t spin when we received it. We just got it fixed so time will tell about the wheels.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter and she loves it it’s a good starter board I have no complaints it seems good quality to me I would recommend this product

Purchased for my son as a first skateboard. He’s 7 and it’s perfect for him. Friends of mine who skate said it’s great quality for the price!

Greatvboard for people on a budget or new skaters however the trucks are terrible, I suggest buying another pair and using those. However everything else on the board is pretty good

Great skateboard for my six year old to start out on. Seems sturdy, rides well. He loves it.

The wheels don’t spin very well but looks pretty nice overall

Its a nice design, good grip, great for a new rider but the wheels are pretty bad, they are not very smooth.
