This blanket was quite the holiday gamble for us. We got it on sale for $175 in early December, which even for $75 off at the time felt like way to much for a blanket. We buy a lot of throw blankets and even our favorite Pottery Barn Blankets aren’t this expensive. This blanket is smaller then I realized. It’s skinny which I assume is to apply all the weight to one person. Not great for snuggling with but its possible. Even shorter memebers of the family wanted a little more width to help with curling into. Length is okay but I wouldn’t mind a tad more. The material of the Duvet cover is super smooth and great for naps or rubbing your face into. It just feels good and we’ll probably never change the cover if we can avoid it. The weight feels really good and has helped my wife finally be able to sleep through some of our noisier neighbor’s 4am Bass jams or me waking up early to roll out of bed. She’s a super light sleeper. So while doesnt stop her from waking up to poke me for snoring, it happens a bit less now. Its also a great for laying on the couch in cold weather and napping blanket. Its super legit. I’d be hard pressed to buy another at $175 but if it went lower go maybe $125-145, I’d be tempted to get a second for other members of my family that loved it.

I’m not one to write reviews often, but this blanket has me up late at night wanting to share my personal experience with everyone. I’ll be honest, the thought of a “weighted blanket” at first seemed like a gimmick and I was extremely skeptical. First off, I am a fan of Kickstarter products - but I promise I am not biased. I did tons of research and decided to bite the bullet on the infamous Gravity Blanket. Before sleeping with a weighted blanket I dealt with some major sleeping issues. More than anything, I was having frequent panic attacks and anxiety episodes while trying to fall asleep. Nothing seemed to help, melatonin, meditation, nothing. Every night it was the same tossing and turning, elevated heart rate and shortness of breath. I turned to the Google’s to find some sense of relief and comfort and someone online recommended trying a weighted blanket. First thought when I opened this blanket was, wow this thing is heavy. “How am I ever going to get used to sleeping under it?” Second thought was “this is high quality and so soft.” It did take some getting used to. The first few nights it did feel weird. Almost like I was stuck in quick sand. After a few nights, I started noticing all it took was for me to put my phone down, roll over to my side, take some deep breaths and BOOM, I was out. It’s been about a month now - my sleep has never been better. My anxiety issues at night have almost completely went away. My sleep quality has improved (less waking up) and my snoring and tossing and turning has went way down (according to my partner). Here I am currently, laying under the blanket, feeling warm, relaxed, typing this review for the internet to read. In a nutshell - this gravity blanket has done more for me than any pill, breathing technique or therapy session could have done. I hope sharing my personal story with everyone helps at least one other sleepless person dealing with similar issues I dealt with. This purchase has been THE best purchase of 2021 and it was worth every penny.

This is simply one of the best weighted blankets you can buy. Outstanding quality, very well made, and extremely comfortable. It’s not the cheapest option, but the price is absolutely justified — you truly get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a premium weighted blanket that actually delivers, this one is 100% worth the money. Highly recommended

This blanket is a game changer. I’ve always slept poorly until now. I can’t wait to go to sleep. This blanket provides the perfect napping experience for me as well. That has never happened. What can I say, I love my woobie. This blanket is very heavy. I get a little work out just making the bed. My husband doesn’t like covers on, so I doubled it up on my side of the bed and do not toss and turn anymore. Such amazing sleep quality. To me it feels like the x-ray apron they lay on you at the dentist office, only better. It is soft and cuddly and soothing. There hasn’t been a day I haven’t said out loud how much I love my bankie. I will admit I was tempted to return it, but I am so glad I didn’t. This is the best investment I’ve made this year. There are other reviews that say this more eloquently, but this is one item I can no longer live without.

I’ve been sleeping under this 230x230 and 15kg blanket for a few weeks now, and it’s Great! I wouldn’t give it away and it’s worth the steep price. I sleep through the nights and wake up more rested. Nothing is 100% but previously I had difficulties in falling asleep. Negative: It is too warm for the summer season though, and I have to figure out a easier trick on how to do the washing.

Brilliant item

This is my second weighted blanket and the gravity blanket is definitely the better one. I paid quite a bit more for the first one and ended up returning it because I was too nervous to use it. The removable cover on the gravity blanket means you can actually wash it, which makes me feel more comfortable having it out. And it looks lovely folded at the foot of my chaise and also on my bed. It really helps with my restless leg syndrome that plagued me at night and even when I’m sat on the sofa with it, it feels a bit like a hug.

I finally bought this product after month's of researching anxiety reducing products. It arrived quickly and felt super soft as soon as I took it out of the box. The quality feels great and the beads stay where they're meant to be inside the blanket. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase, and will be purchasing a second blanket for my wife.
