Sour Chewy Fruit Candy Balls (Purple Grape, 1 Pound)

These candies were a pleasant a surprise. They’re much softer than I expected and seem really fresh. The flavor is nice but it’s not super strong. I got the pink grapefruit and the blue raspberry. They’re not really sour so I would not use these as a substitute for those sour cherry chewy candies.

Yummy… not too sour…also texture is easy on one’s teeth and jaws😏

What gives? Is this a bait and switch? Dishonest business practice and defective product – which arrived melted and a congealed mess that turns out (contrary to the listing info) to be unreturnable. This product is not sour on any level (despite the description) and has a flavor and texture that are for lack of a better word, more powdery instead of the classic chewy texture of sour balls. Just. Gross.The listing clearly indicates this product is eligible for refund or replacement, which is why I chose to purchase it. When I tried to request a replacement I was informed this item is not eligible. Really? So you can just outright lie in your listing info now? Avoid this seller.

Danger Danger Will Robison !!! Once you find these sweet chewy packed with mouth watering flavor you will never want to be without them. The grapefruit ones taste just like fresh grapefruit with sugar on top. The orange ones OMG my wife and I had to get our own bag. Do it!!! Do not order just one lol. 😒

I ordered the grapefruit flavor because that and green apple are my fav. The outside shell part would have been rated a *2, but the inside part is super tasty! The outside part is almost like an M&M texture, and the inside is like a chewy gummy vitamin texture. The outside is just way too sugary, and the inside has a nice tart grapefruit flavor. I started cracking off the outside and just eating the center. They are about the size of a peanut M&M so I dont think you could use them in a gumball machine. Not sure if I would order again, didn't dislike them, but not totally crazy about them either. HTH!!

I was led to believe this candy would have a chewy outside and soft inside when the candy I received was hard through and through and definitely not chewy... couldn't eat...

These are expensive, but necessary for a project I was doing with my students. The candy balls arrived undamaged and in a sealed bag that didn’t allow them to stick together. The flavor of the balls is good, and this has many more flavors than others I have bought. It worked well for my project. I just with candy was not so expensive.

If you like Lemon sours these are it. I used to buy these years ago from our Sears store when they had the candy /popcorn station set up. Went to researching for them and bought them hoping they were the same and as it turned out they are. I will buy again !
