Powering a raspberry pi from DC source
Brought to power a Raspberry PI from the power supply of a 3d printer. Once setup correctly powers the raspberry pi without any issues, and the USB connector means there is no messing around using the header on the raspberry pi.A gotcha is that the raspberry pi is very picky about under-voltage during heavy use and the current limit when the buck module arrives is enough for the pi to boot, but not enough to run at full speed. Turning the current limit up and it works without a problem.

Better instructions
Product is superb but they would get 5 stars if only they would change the instructions from “Chinglish” to English.

No voltage or current adjustment
There is zero voltage or current adjustment on this item, even though it says so in the description.Yes it works but only at the voltage and current you feed it on the input.

Shows the screws as if it comes with a case.
Yea it works OK. But misleading shown it with the screws makes out it comes with a case. Disappointed

Great Unit For MyNeeds
I was looking for a unit that inclued a USB connection out of the box to provide power via a USB C connector which is exactky what this unit provides. Product is very compact with a bright LED display where you can check both the output voltage and current in real time at the click of the onboard switch. Adjustment of voltage and current is very easy via the onboard trimmer pots, but you will need a very small headed screwdriver to do this. The package came with spacers and hex bolts for mounting into an enclosure which is handy, but in my case a bit redundant and a heat sink to attach to the regulator for additional heat dissipation. I would have given 5 stars as it's such a great little unit, but dropped a star as there is zero documentation on fitting the heatsink and on how to adjust the output voltage/current using the onboard LED display. This can be found in the advertisment, so not sure why the photo plus a short description on how to select the voltage / current via the toggle switch and then how to adjust the trimmer pots could not be included along with the device.I've shared a couple of photos showing the unit working and attached to my Raspberry Pi 4B. Next step is to integrate it into my onboard PSU project to supply power to the RPi4B and purchase another unit to supply power to the other 12 volt kit for my astrophotograpy setup. All in all this will reduce the weight and complexity of all the various wires I have all over the telescope mount :-)

Works fine
This little buck works fine, and easy to use. Keep within the stated limits and it keeps precisely to your setting despite varying the input voltage. The multi-turn potentiometer allows precise adjustment, but i found the display unreliable but as i much prefer to use meters anyway that's neither here nor there. After running at 12v 3A for a while it produced quite a bit of heat (too hot to touch). Yes, quite happy with it
