Better for bigger hands but it works well
The media could not be loaded. Before you go using this, make sure to go to your system settings and make sure you turn on the 'Pro Controller Wired Communication' option. This controller is very much like an xbox controller- large and made for bigger hands. Even the trigger buttons feel bouncy/springy like an xbox controller. It doesn't mean its bad, however it did take a while to get used to.It comes with two extra button caps for the right stick, but I stuck with the default small one [later on I realized that the bigger sizes were SOOO much more comfortable].With that said, the controller isn't bad if you prefer handheld gaming. I used it to play Animal Crossing and it worked almost perfectly. It connected to the switch in less than a minute and most of the time it was responsive- except the ZR button which had a few seconds delay to it when pressed.Breakdown:Pros:+ The buttons are bigger and bulge out more, so it's easier to press down on [compared to the joycon, where it's difficult to press the minus or plus button]+ Different sizing thumb caps for the right stick+ Quick to pair up with the switch - just please don't jam it in unless you want your switch to be permanently stuck in+ Nice rumble vibrationCons: - The left stick felt more stiffer - Slight delay with the ZR button - If your switch is in sleep mode, you can not turn it on via the home button on the controller [with the joycon you can] . You either have to activate it with the joycon, or press the power button.

What the hori grip should be
So this joycon replacement is exactly what it tries to be! It's about the same weight as the hori grip but feels a bit sturdier and all functions work. (No IR and no amiibo scanner) this doubles as a protective case as well, so as long as you have a screen protector, you're all set. The case makes the switch undockable, but it's super easy to remove, if that's your thing and charging is done directly from the power cable. No complaints so far and very happy with this purchase!

Excellent Handheld Mode Controller
If you enjoy playing the Nintendo Switch in Handheld Mode, this Controller Grip is an essential accessory. The screen is secure and snug, and the grips feel meaty with a nice textured grip and strong rumble motors built in. Analog sticks snap back to zero nicely with no slop, the left stick has a concave textured surface akin to the Xbox One stick, and the right stick has three removable options including a low profile version that helps get it out of the way of the buttons.Triggers feel great with upward flares for ZL and ZR, and the four face buttons are larger than the joycon with a firm press that isn't mushy. The Dpad is a pleasure to use, clicky like microswitches, feels very reminiscent of the PS Vita Dpad.Pairing with the system is incredibly quick, takes literally a second or two and youre off and away playing! I am really in love with this Controller Grip, very glad to own one!

Awesome Grip Controller for your Nintendo Switch!
I don't like using the joycons and needed a grip for my Switch. I saw this controller/grip and picked it up. I must say I am extremely happy with it!! First off it synced right up as soon as you slid the switch into place which is great! It is extremely comfortable to hold and the analog sticks feel nice. The buttons are clicky and very responsive. You also get a choice of 3 different sizes for the right analog which was a nice touch!! I was surprised to see that the Rumble was built in and worked perfectly!! It also has motion control as well. Everything works great and I really appreciate the d-pad!! I enjoy fighting games and the joycons make it almost impossible to play. This d-pad felt great and I was able to get off all my moves and combos in Street Fighter 2 NO PROBLEM!! So if you are looking for a great alternative to the joycons for handheld play this is a fantastic pick!!!

A perfect grip for on the go or in the city.
I have mostly used my Switch in the docked mode and really wanted to try playing it in handheld more often. This has been fantastic to use. The grip itself has a very solid feel and the actual insertion of the switch was a breeze and was easy to insert and release from the grip.Once inserted the switch feels tight in place and the grip still has a good weight to it and doesn’t feel too bulky. I was worried after about the size of the grip but it feels good in your hands. The texture of the grip feels sturdy and soft.It also comes with interchange button tops to change the size of the thumb stick. Love the orange and black of the grip, I’m hoping more colors come out. One thing I noticed is that you might have to sleep the switch to ensure that it’s not trying to connect to the joy con. Other than that I haven’t had any issues using it. I think it’s awesome that they also included vibration, so it truly feels like complete system. I definitely would recommend this grip to anyone want to play in handheld mode but feel that joycons are a little on small side.

Best Switch accessory I own!
After trying a few aftermarket handles for the Switch, I went with OIVO and I have never used any of the others since! It is super sturdy when the switch is in it versus just the handles on the others. The controls fir your hand well and feel very high quality. The weight balance is a little weird, my only complaint but it doesn't affect my gameplay at all.

I love this controller.
I use this daily since I'm more of a heldheld user. Although this make the unit big and a bit heavier. It still is more comfortable to hold than the split pro controllers. As for the charging port, it works but I think the controller is taking away from the actual charge rate from the console. I don't usually us my Nintendo charger and that maybe the reason. I've always used other chargers and they work just fine without the controller attached.
