I use this safety device on metal roofs to prevent myself from sliding off while working. The adjustment mechanism is straightforward and allows for quick and easy changes to fit different situations. What impresses me most is how reliably it engages—not only in the event of a fall, but also when I’m simply working on a steep incline. While I haven’t actually fallen off a roof to test it, the device consistently stops me from sliding, giving me confidence that it would protect me even on a vertical drop. Overall, it provides excellent peace of mind and is a must-have for anyone working on metal roofs.

This works well, I like that it opens so I can swap from one rope to another without dragging the entire rope through it. It’s not easy to open but shouldn’t be, I want it to stay closed until I can go through the process of opening it.
