Ive tested this thing 2 different ways and it really works. Just so, i purchased a second one for if it fails. You cant find another that works this well for the price. A steripen dont work as well as this one does. Charging doesnt take long. And the battery last for for more than a week for me. I use everyday several times a day. Hasnt failed yet after several months! I mix my own drinks with a drinkmate machine and i use this before every liter bottle i mix up. I dont review much but i have to for this. Im glad i bought it. I especially to use on city water after its filtered. No critters in my water. I use it to sanitise phone, computer keyboard, and anything thats comes to mind. Not a germ nut but it paid for itself several times over.

I purchased this for a 3-week trip to India. It was easy to figure out (only read the directions once) and easy to use. It comes in a nice little travel bag. I charged it at the beginning of my trip, and while I didn't use it every day it still help its charge until I got home. This would work super well for traveling too.

So i cant say enough about this thing!! It’s amazing!! You can tell a difference in the taste. Well i dont know if its taste, but more so totally removes the “hard water” taste from your tap water. These days, i never use water from my sink when i cook..only filtered water from my fridge. If i have to use tap water, i simple use this uv pen and set it for an hour before i cook with it! So thankful i found out about this amazing device from a wonderful woman named Tore..ToreSays..check her out on rumble and youll understand why items like these, are an ultimate MUST HAVE!!! Bought this product in July and it worked well until this month (May). Recharges easily. However in button first came off after about a month. Used a pencil eraser to turn it on after that. Now unit will not turn on at all even though it is recharged. Not a good deal if it lasts only 6 months, as in my case. Recommend buying an extended warranty if purchasing.

Works as advertised, except it usually takes a couple attempts to turn the device on.

Compared this item and reviews with Steripen. This one seems better. Rechargeable battery and USB charged. Work as it should. Like it so much we purchased another on Prime Day 2021. Great resource to keep on hand for boil water notice or for camping and hikes. Think redundancy. Super easy to set up and use. Highly recommend.

Regardless of your demography you can not be to prepared. Especially in "todays world."I've done my research on U.V.lights, This is the best quality,and price point I have found. I use mine most days to sanitize my cell phone,keys, dog leash,purse,and tap water. It dose greatly improve the taste of my tap water. It is so nice to know I have this for emergency use ,if my water supply becomes compromised.
