Small, quick, easy.
Needed something small and inexpensive to help remove small mats from my cocker spaniel in sensitive areas like inside ears, paws, nubby tail etc. This worked great. Runs on one AA battery, which lasted for quite awhile. Its a little bit noisy, which my dog did not like, but he has very sensitive ears. Putting a slightly moistened cotton ball in helped. The clip on combs worked well, but sometimes popped off. Keeping it well oiled also increases cutting performance. The shape of it makes it easy to hold and comfortable. Would definitely buy again if necessary. Well worth the amount I paid at this time which was around $10

Very handy little clipper.
I bought one a couple of years ago for little grooming jobs on my Toy Poodle and really enjoyed using it. It is a nice design and comfortable to hold and gets the job done. It's great value for the Wahl brand, which I trust. Though it's a powerful little thing, I pushed it a little too hard on a bigger job and it suddenly stopped working so I immediately purchased another.

Absolutely awesome!
These are for pets but also work amazingly for small kids when trimming bangs or around the neck. They're quieter and cut the hair super easily without cutting or harming the neck area. This is why I purchased two sets. I live how compact and light weight they are. It even came with a blade guard, two attachments and a battery. Awesome!

Better for medium to large dog toes
I bought this little shaver to get between my dog's toes. I have 3 medium (44 lb to 62 lb) bernedoodles or varying degrees of poodle (75/50/25). The most poodle-y of the doodles get stuff stuck in her toes a lot. To avoid this, she now gets her toes shaved. The other two get their toes shaved between the pads. What I liked abouy this shaver is that the blade didn't get hot. It got warm, but it was a reasonable temperature. I've tried another, much smaller sized one that gets into the smaller spaces well, but the blade gets very hot. I appreciate that the Wahl did not get hot. I shaved all 3 dog's toes, took about a half hour, and the blade was still a low warm at best. The size is decent for large paws or for a sanitary trim. However, with the sanitary trim, one of my dogs was startled by the vibration, and I couldn't finish. So, it is pretty powerful. It came with a battery, and after shaving for a half hour, it is still going. When replacing the battery, I will either use rechargeable batteries or lithium ion batteries. The lithium battery should last a decent amount of time. The shaver did a great job. My dog's feet are 3 inches+ wide. I don't think this would be good for getting between the toes of a smaller dog, but it worked for between th pads of my medium sized dogs. What I don't like is that the shaver has one speed. It is a bit loud, but didn't freak out my dogs. The shave you get is really close. I felt the weight of the shaver was nice, and I appreciated the wider body for holding onto.

Stopped working in less than 2 months
I have not had this product long at all and I have only used it maybe 5 times and it has stopped working completely. I have put a new battery in thinking it was just the battery but no it will not turn on at all. Do not buy this product. This is the second time I purchased this product and the first one lasted a year but this one only lasted less than 2 months.

Sharp blades, shaved my Dog's balls!
Yes, the balls were getting kinda ragged, as TENNIS Balls do, when dogs get ahold of them. Cleaned them right up, cutting off the extra fuzz, strands, etc., worked perfectly. Seriously, anyone got a better way to rejuvenate a half shredded tennis ball, Kong ball? You think I want my dog shredding and swallowing that fuzzy stuff? It really got my Dogs Balls looking great again! Recently quit working - lots of company hats & tees ... hmmm... used this on the back side of the hats and shirts to remove company embroidery, a little patience, and it all came off cleanly! Worked better and a razor, no fabric was damaged. Also works on faces .... trimming mustache, beard, fine hairs on ears, excellent grooming tool. And, it's quiet enough the dog doesn't mind it, shaving the fine fuzz between the toes, around the ears, etc.

compact and very portable, but not quiet
this WAHL Pocket Pro Compact Trimmer is a very good size to use when trimming your pet's fur. the flat body is easy to hold, to manipulate into the angles needed to groom. it comes with one AA battery, clipper blade protector, blade oil, cleaning brush, and two different length trimming guards. I found that that installing the clipper's trimming guards and the blade protector very easy. but to remove them, it required some pulling to get them off. this may be fine for most users, but if you have any dexterity issues, it can be a challenge as you may think you might break these parts. the trimmer itself seems to be made of decent quality materials. the body is thick gray plastic and the trimming blades of steel metal. when in use, the clipper isn't quiet. I must have a different definition of what quiet is over what the manufacturer says is quiet. the trimmer buzzes like any other typical trimmer. for the reasons of difficulty removing the blade guards and protector, plus the noise level, I dock two stars off for a three-star overall rating for this product. it would have been great to include some sort of storage case or bag. lots of small parts hard to keep together without it.

Seemed like a great product, light weight and quiet, but 4 months after purchase and just used once, it's stopped working. I've changed the battery etc but nope, nothing. I don't recommend.

Alles Super, würde ich wieder Kaufen. Da ich ihn für die Pfoten meiner Hunde benutze. Könnte er etwas (nur etwas) schmaler für die Hand sein.

This is perfect for trimming the face and the paws of my dogs. It is small and easy to handle. The noise is low and doesn't frighten them. I use a large clipper for the body.
