Excellent product
A really effective camera that was easy for me to set up in our garden. I like the fact that it’s wireless and can also that it be unscrewed easily from the bracket, so sometimes we move it to another place temporarily.Wish it didn’t pick up every leaf moving in the wind, but I guess it’s just being cautious! Also to note that I dropped it on the gravel while unscrewing to recharge the battery and there was no sign of damage at all.

Good product. Good price.
Good price for a camera with a built in light!Battery usage depends on the amount of daily triggers. Can sometimes get about 3 months out of it before charging- based on around 15 to 20 triggers a day.The light is surprisingly powerful.(But does drain battery quicker).I would like to see a future Arlo with a built in solar roof slope design. (I appreciate these things take about 4 years to design, develop and get to market).Good tip.Turn light off (can do this in Arlo settings on the app), and buy a cheap £20 solar light and put that next to it. Will reduce the amount of times you need to charge.

Absolutely rubbish
Battery life is absolutely rubbish. I don't live in a particularly busy area, but it would completely drain of battery within 3-4 of usage with all settings set to the lowest possible. At one point I decided to just shut it down through the app, but it would still drain itself of all battery (from 100%) within 2 weeks!!! And now it would not charge at all despite plugging it in all night. It's good for nothing except as a "dummy" camera at this point.Extremely disappointed!

Good for the price
Got this camera to supplement 2 others we have indoors. This one is for outdoors. The 'charger' is a short USB cable - better than the special adapter needed for the other cameras. The wall bracket is rather flimsy, but seems to do the job.The night vision is not that great - can barely see any detail. The LED light is pretty feeble - barely lights up much area. But the picture quality during the day is pretty good - and you can zoom in by pinching the screen.I've connected it to the same hub as my other cameras are connected to (so that I can use the same app), so hope that I won't need the paid for subscription when the 3 month trial ends. It's extremely easy to set up.

Easy to install and run.
Absolute dream to install and works perfectly. Easy to access video recording (Cloud) via the website or app. Been using it for a couple of months and battery is still above 65%. Recharging it takes about 4hrs, no wiring required, a huge bonus. This knocks Hive security out of the water.

This is a brilliant camera, let down by awful battery life
Got this camera, and it's been brilliant for detecting motion and recording it. Even captured a rogue gardener scratching the car by accident, which meant we were able to get back the cost of the repair which more than paid for the camera. But it's let down by the poor battery life. If you live on a busy street or you get a lot of deliveries, this thing is going to run out of juice in a matter of days.I bought the solar panel charger to augment the battery but as the days drew shorter and there was less direct sunlight I found this thing ran out of power completely and even on a strong sunny (but still short) day the solar panel didn't generate enough to bring it back above 2%. Which meant I had to go up a ladder and take the unit down to charge it inside, which means I'm going without protection. The unit would be a lot better if the battery was easily replaceable. As things stand I'm going to have to hard wire this one in so it doesn't run out again.

Very Clear Footage!
As I say, very clear footage and I notice that there is a light coming on in the dark - an upgrade from the previous model

Buyer beware - hidden charges
The camera is fine but but be aware that essentially it does not work without the subscription which for more than one camera is £8.99 per month. I think this is a rip-off - consider for example that a Microsoft 365 subscription is about £5 per month, or Netflix £10. They don't tell you this clearly in the blurb, but rather they choose to use an underhand and in my view dishonest 'bait 'n switch' sales strategy. They get you buy the camera and then later disclose to you the full cost of the subscription. By then you have already invested in the camera's! If you look on eBay it appears that many people just sell their kit rather than be double crossed. I'm away right now so my strategy is just to switch it on while I am away, then turn off the subscription. I'll get some usage out of the camera's and then ditch them. There are other camera's that don't charge a subscription and I will go for those.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - Immerhin 23 FPS (Einzelbilder pro Sekunde)

Prodotto Top, cloud Costoso
