Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit - Mario (Nintendo Switch)

Wasn't sure what to expect, but was intrigued by the idea of smashing real world with AR. 10 mins to set up and we were off.Watching the cart go around it looks slow, but when playing with the camera so low to the ground and with all the AR obstacles - it's pretty fast and fun!We've only unlocked the 100cc kart so far, but it goes up to 200cc which I think will be more than fast enough.I'm a bit of a tech nerd, and I can honestly say this is the most fun bit of tech I've brought in a long time! Would be even more fun with 2 karts whizzing around!Well done Nintendo - a swing and a hit!

My grandson loved this product and set it up immediately on opening . He was also playing with it after his birthday so not just a 5 minute wonder .

Good fun . The barriers fold up nicely to be stored away . I photocopied the arrow signs and made some extra ones which work well . It’s a little hard to use if you don’t have a big enough space , and for younger kids it’s hard as when they bash into the barriers it messes the track up .Really cool idea tho . My kids love it . They normally just use it without the track items . Just rave about the house and watch it on the tv . Very good fun . Easy to set up and use, one thing I think they could improve tho , is the signal !! As it links to the Nintendo and NOT the wifi , the range is not great . Picture goes a bit fuzzy and a warning message come up when I go into my kitchen, even tho it’s the other side of the wall to the telly . If it was wifi . The picture would be better and range would be better . But you can follow it round with the switch in handheld mode which means you can go anywhere .The kart speeds up and slows down when you hit bananas etc or mushrooms in the game . Which is so cool . And by doing the drift , the kart boosts too ! . It’s quite slow and easy to use for most ages , obv it has to be slow to be scaled to the actual races . And looks faster when your watching it on the screen .Happy purchase .

I cannot write a detailed review as it was a Christmas present for my 8 year old Grandson who we haven't seen for several months due to Covid. Using Zoom we can see him playing and he was very excited with his present. His mum says it's good value, entertaining and an excellent present. He wants a second set for his birthday in February.

Good quality, works well, highly recommended

I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but when we unboxed it and got it going, it became the big Christmas hit! Unlimited tracks and just driving the kart around when not racing, is brilliant! Tempted to buy a second switch and kart for multiplayer!
