Shropshire Blue Cheese (1 lb)

Shipping took two days. Ice packs were still cold, cheese was perfect.

I was very surprised to see that my order of Shropshire Blue cheese was delivered so quickly, and in such perfect condition, but it was all good, and we are loving the cheese. I never would have to thought to order a hunk of cheese on Amazon, but they offered it, and I had trouble buying it locally, so thought why not? So glad I took a chance. In fact, I had read somewhere that you can freeze this cheese to extend the life and quality, so I divided the cheese into three hunks, and froze two of them for later. Wonderful idea and so glad I did, as we now have fresh cheese treats for some time. Thank you!!!!!

It was ok but not quite as strong as I expected..

Hubby loves to eat Blue Cheese from different countries and this was good.

Call me plebian, if you will, but I was not impressed. It's good, don't get me wrong, was well packaged with none of the damage experienced by others, but I am just as satisfied with Huntsman cheese (double Gloucester layered with Stilton) at half the price.

Being here in the U.S., I wasn't familiar with this cheese style.I took a swing at it, and am glad that I did.This small block of haunting orange tastiness is going to disappear quickly !. . . would definitely recommend trying it if you haven't as yet *

Sad to say that this delicious cheese arrived almost completely melted. To make it worse, oils in the cheese had separated and were smeared all over the surface. It appears that the cheese was packaged with an ice pack that had melted. Clearly, the packing is inadequate. The overall taste was good, but I would definitely not serve it to guests.

This is a fantastic blue with tons of character. If you like blue cheeses, you should definitely give it a try.
