Swirling Rainbow Ceiling Fan Blade Covers

So... You have a problem... seems minor enough... I will contact the seller and they will probably be able to solve it instantly because someone must have had this problem before, right? If only contacting the seller was not some sort of puzzle!The problem is that the shape of the blades on my fan demands that the elastic be stretched more than was probably designed to stretch. The blades then taper fairly rapidly until they meet the hub --so there is no thin arm that would allow one to tie the socks with a zip tie or something-- not that it matters all that much since there is a considerable gap. Given that "one size fits all" is made from Lycra, some stretch would be expected; however, if there is some stretch, it is not in the direction I need.On low or Medium, they hold well enough --if not in an aerodynamically impressive state--; On high, the inevitable difference in the rate the socks fall off and the length that falls off at any given moment induces an unsustainable wobble --one blade came within inches of the ceiling. Even if I could live --for right now-- with less speed in exchange for really nice colors, I will need everything the fan has in the summer. Right now, pieces of tape are holding the socks on the fan but I doubt that will last.As a thought, grommets on longer socks could be used to shorten a sock when necessary while still serving to secure the sock to the fan with paracord. I will grant that paracord is not necessarily the most decorator friendly (it does come in far more colors than anyone ever thought possible) but it is sturdy and readily available.I look forward to hearing from the seller as the idea of cleaning the fan by throwing the "blades" into the washer is wildly appealing to me.

I think this product is too big for my fan in my dining room but does exactly as it’s described. It covers the blades, adds a fun pop of color.
