Jaws - 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital [4K UHD]

Jaws is a great movie, but maybe due to the original print, they did not do much with the video or audio quality, this is 4k ultra HD, with Dolby Atmos sound, this upgrade did not take full advantage of the new technology. It looks good, sounds good but not 4k Dolby Atmos quality, It also has black bars top and bottom, although I understand why, this is 2025, they could have went in added real Dolby Atmos sound, and expanded the video to 16x9, no black bars. I gave it five stars, because after all, it is Jaws.

For me at my age most of today’s movie are to loud and much to bloody and not what I enjoy. That said this is a classic scary movie music at the right time, some blood not over done. Great casting believable script for the most part. So grab your popcorn and coke seat back and enjoy this classic.

This movie is what started it all. Many, after watching the film, ended up scared being from swimming into a pool, pond, river, lake and ocean. When this cult classic came out, it scared everyone. It also started copycat films that have tried to scare people from the giant octopus, sharks, Orca the killer whale, piranha's, giant squid, prehistoric sea creatures, etc.Jaws 1 and Jaws 2 are the only films worth watching. Jaws 3 & 4, I refuse to buy them. The first movie still scares me today. The second film isn't at the level of the first, but it's still a great picture.Just like the DVD special edition, you get all the special features. However, the Blu-ray, is in 1080p, high definition. High quality sound. Great soundtrack. The music still sends chills down when you watch the picture.Jaws is known to have given real nightmares to the viewers and made people scared from entering the water. Many felt the intense action and suspense made people mentally break. Scaring people so much, they had a hard time wanting to enter a swimming pool. Just the fear of a large fish or something in the water, made people turn white. Kids and even adults became scared of just being three feet in the water, made them scared. Unless the water is 100% clear, if you can't see what's in the water, many refused to enter.This is one of those films, you can still be scared after all these years. If you're one of those Gen Z kids who haven't seen the film, you should check this out. Afterward, you may be afraid to enter the water or have a good night sleep...

A classic. Seen it a hundred times. People love to quote the lines!

This was a very good Blu-ray. There is not a huge difference between this and a DVD copy, but there definitely is a difference. You won’t see it in all parts, but you do see it in many. I think it is worth the upgrade.

This is required once a year viewing for everyone. Classic suspense, great acting. The original summer blockbuster. I watch this every summer!
