Great Grip!
Works as advertised. I broke my left index finger a few years ago and struggle with grip strength in that hand due to lose of strength in that finger. As a powelifter this makes it hard to train at heavy weird for multi-rep because my grip falls after only a few reps. I also don't want to constantly rely on straps to compensate. Lastly my gym doesn't allow chalk go figure. Anyways I found liquid grip and hear are my thoughts.About a dime to nickel size run over hands like lotion and let them dry, this is crucial or it won't work the way you want it to, you might have to wave or shake hands to help air dry but only a few seconds. I have used for circuit workouts, gripping and un-gripping bars and push ups in one routine and powerlifting as well. It lasted at least 2 sets regardless of what I was doing, it didn't transfer to the bar, there is a very small transfer to cloths occasionally but barely noticeable. The smell isn't the greatest but its not unbearable. Its so super strong that you can smell it after its dried. It helped me get 8 reps at 225 before I couldn't hold the bar.

small bottle to take into the gym - Smells pretty good - Works like brick chalk for grip
Pros:- Leaves little to no residue on surfaces ("no transfer") once dry on your hands- Discreet, small bottle to take into the gym- Smells pretty good- Works like brick chalk for grip, provides good tackiness and gripCons:- Requires more reapplications that the product seems to let on- Requires soap and water to remove- Contains some amount of rosin from what I've gathered about the ingredients (online research) - might not be safe to use on rock climbing routes due to potential for tacky build-up (climbers would know more about this)Overall Impression:I love this product for weight-lifting! Pretty affordable and the formulation is great as far as drying characteristics, grip strength and the fact that it really does reduce/eliminate transfer from your hands to keep chalk dust down compared to other liquid chalk products. Great for gyms that ban "chalk" as 95% of it stays on your hands and it comes with a discreet small bottle. Be sure to let it dry COMPLETELY before you use your hands or you risk it coming off easier and for courtesy, I would wipe off any barbells/dumbbells/equipment you use to remove the potential gum/rosin.

It's not necessarily a game changer- but it is an amazing substitute to chalk when you're not allowed to use ...
Use to use regular gymnastics chalk that I purchased in bulk to dead lift with when at the gym. Rather not wear gloves - that is for wimps! My gym got upset that I was using chalk and messing the place up. A trainer suggested I tried liquid grip - and so I opened up my Amazon Prime Account and got looking. This is the first time I've used liquid grip - or any non-chalk based grip substitute. It's not necessarily a game changer- but it is an amazing substitute to chalk when you're not allowed to use it. It's also pretty cheap, portable and makes no mess. Easy to take off with soap and water. Hitting my personal dead lift records still - even with this as a substitute - so guess its good enough for me.

Works very well
I do calisthenics workout and use bar a lot. Not only for pull ups but I do pull overs, meat hooks, muscle ups, mu negatives, German hang, back lever etc. My hands sweat a lot and start slipping and it was very dangerous when I was upside down. I wanted something with a good grip… then my calisthenics friend told me about this. I love this product. This works better than non slip gloves. Yes, you get calluses on your hands but you get better grips.

Not chalk, but not bad either
Ive been buying this chalk substitute for years. It is perfect for everything all the way up to your max effort lifts. It certainly increases the amount of friction between your hand and the bar, thus giving you a better grip. It must be reapplied a few times, just like regular chalk, but it does have a bit of "tacky" to it, giving it more of a stick. However, it is a chalk SUBSTITUTE, not replacement. What good powder chalk will do that this will not, in addition to creating more friction, is fill in all the creases and groves in your hands, thus giving more surface contact on the bar, distributing the load more evenly.Chalk will ALWAYS be the superior choice, but this is damn close

Liquid Grip
Only reason I bought this product is because the military installation I'm on doesn't allow chalk in the gyms. It's a ridiculous policy, but that's neither here nor there. It looks kind of weird when you squirt it in your hand; rub it in, allow it to dry (dries faster outside in the wind, or if there's a huge fan you can stand in front of), and it looks like there's chalk in your hands. But it doesn't rub off (nearly as fast) as chalk. The ingredients are: Chalk, alcohol, thickener, and a scent. Personally, I could do without the scent; smells sweet and gross. It works well, nearly as well as chalk, but if you work out in a gym that doesn't allow chalk (and can't go to a gym that does), then you'll definitely want this product. Or, you can use the ingredient list and try to make your own.Reasons I didn't give it 5 stars: it smells gross (to me) and it rubs off after about half a work out.
