Outstanding Story
Lando Calrissian is heavily indebted to Papa Toren. He needs a major score in order to settle things. And Papa Toren has found just the right opportunity -- an expensive pleasure ship owned by a rich imperial that would more than make up for the amount Lando owes. The ship is in a lightly guarded shipyard getting a refit. As an added plus, the ship is reportedly filled with treasure that Lando can keep should he succeed. All Lando has to do is steal the ship and get it back to Toren. Lando begins assembling a team to pull off the heist. In a scene that reminds one of Danny Ocean, Lando organizes his crew and lays out the plan for taking the ship. Included in his team are his faithful companion Lobot; Korin, an antiquities expert; and twin warriors Aleksin and Pavol. Lando's perfect plan falls predictably apart and he and his team are left to deal with Imperial guards, one of the galaxy's top bounty hunters, and the ancient Sith secrets stored within the ship they learn belongs to none other than Emperor Palpatine himself. The artwork in this book, by Alex Maleev, is fantastic. It's not the realistic style that most of the other Marvel Star Wars books have, but it's very well-done, and most importantly, it fits the book very well. Perhaps just as impressive as the line art is the coloring work of Paul Mounts, who does a great job of accentuating the pictures. The writing and storyline are perfect. The dialog is entertaining. Charles Soule advances the storyline and mixes in several subplots. He also does an excellent job of switching from scene to scene and knowing what to leave out and what to include to keep the storyline moving along. The characters are interesting and developed. Overall, this book is a great read and rivals the Han Solo series for the best Star Wars book that Marvel has produced.

Best Marvel Star Wars Comic
LANDO represents Star Wars comics at their best. This is a lean, effective miniseries with a great character arc, and it gives added depth to characters and events from the films. Charles Soule nails Lando's voice and style, while Alex Maleev perfectly captures the likeness of Billy Dee Williams. It all feels very organic to the universe, and to the character as he was depicted in The Empire Strikes Back. Moreover, the story manages to be unpredictable and full of thrills, with some awesome ties to established lore that should please more seasoned Star Wars fans. LANDO's ending also packs an emotional punch that I wasn't expecting. If you only read one Star Wars comic, make it LANDO. For the low price, there's no excuse not to read this one.

Lando!
This is another miniseries from Marvel. I've really enjoyed the focuses on different characters. This one lets Lando take the lead. The art in this graphic novel doesn't feel very Star Wars to me. I like it, but it just doesn't have that classic feel to it. The designs of the aliens feels off as well. The Sith Infiltrator appears in this series. I always like when prequel era blends into the original trilogy. The bounty hunters of the Star Wars universe have always been cool. This series introduces some more mercenaries. The feline duo is interesting.Lobot has such a small, but present role in The Empire Strike Back. It's neat to see more of his history. This book has a surprisingly emotional ending. This miniseries really got Lando as a character. I loved the way he used the blaster towards the end. I wasn't hooked from the start, but the writing really pulled me in. By the end, I wanted more! I give Lando a 4/5. I'm excited for more Star Wars from Charles Soule. He is doing the upcoming Poe Dameron comic.

The best a Star Wars miniseries has to offer. Relevant and emotional story.
This is my favorite miniseries in the new Disney canon for Star Wars comics(miniseries*, the darth Vader series is too good for a miniseries to pass). Soule once again shows his brilliance in this comic, somehow giving an incredibly interesting and important backstory in the middle of the original trilogy. (Spoiler:stealing Palpatines ship is such an interesting idea and lobots backstory is the most tear jerking thing Iโve read in the Star Wars comics) This is a great start for people who want to get into Star Wars comics, itโs a quick read and If you want more Soule I recommend his Darth Vader series. 8.5/10 but I donโt wanna lower the reviews

If you love Lando, then buy it!!
I was really surprised by this comic because so far the marvel-starwars canon universe hasn't been that special. Most stories lack depth and don't take risks as far as where a character can go which is not their fault since they can't contradict the movies. Starwars: Lando however brought interesting characters and gave the Lobot & Lando relationship alot of layers. I really felt that this was a true friendship and that alone was enough for me to love this comic. It stays very true to lando's character in the movies and brings a deeper meaning to when they interact in episode 5. As far negatives go, it's some minor things that happen to certain characters that felt too convenient in terms of storytelling. I'm not gonna go into spoilers because I do feel that if you love Lando in Empire and Return of the Jedi then it's a must read.

Landoooooo!
After so many years of Star Wars fandom I still couldn't get a grip on this Lando character - he was ok to me but I always considered him in a league "B" compared to the others. Seeing him getting a full volume in the Marvel-series made me giving him another chance and what a good decision it proved to be! What I missed of him in the movies and books so far I found in the comics: his character shines in the mess he created in the story, quite dramatic events and decisions to be made and the lore deepens as well.Loved it all, the storytelling, the artwork and the whole atmosphere of this all!

Trash graphic novel
I didnโt enjoy this at all, love the lando character but only in the moves (Episode 5 & 6) the rest including this is trash.
