Replaced my trash can lid with no problems at all and it works great!

Got five years out of the last one. And it got plenty of use. Expect the same this time round. We use the power adapter as opposed to batteries.

I bought the garbage can with lid. The lid quit working within a few months. I bought a second lid thinking the first may have been defective and this lid has quit working as well. It has been less than 3 months. What a waste of money.

The original top opened and closed so fast that it eventually snapped the plastic it used to open. This new version opens a bit more controlled and slower which is a plus. The addition of the pet lock is nice too.

The lid for trash can was broken. ( my 1 1/2 years old curious niece broke it) had to replace it
