Does it only run synth from Native Instruments, or also other companies?

in standalone mode, only the select Native Instruments synths it comes with. In controller mode, you can add any other synth. However, in standalone, it can control other external hardware synths.

If you hookup maschine plus to a computer, will it give you all the same functionality as mk3 ?

Do u have to hook this up to a computer or can i just plug it into the wall and does an adaptor come with it or is it batteries?

It works as a stand alone device with a wall adapter included for power. The Maschine+ has no on board battery.
