Grow Up Hydrogarden Vertical Deluxe Unit, 2.15 by 4-Feet

I ordered a new item and it came in obviously used, the tub cover still had algee stain, the tub rim was scratched as was the pump, the pump was also faded. The worse part was I bought this as a birthday gift for my wife and of cause that made the surprise gift even more exciting in a bad way. Don't really have experience with the item functionally, returned immediately after opening and finding out the condition.

Moving to a small house drastically limited our gardening, the solution, Hydrogarden Vertical Deluxe. It sits in the corner of our deck. It is an understatement to say it is prolific. We have two tomato plants, three types of peppers, one miniature eggplant, and two cucumber plants. We over planted. We had to thin it out so out came the cucumbers. So far we have harvested over 60 tomatoes, countless peppers, a dozen cucumbers, and at least a dozen eggplants. With almost four months of use we encountered a problem and worked it out on a Sunday with customer service, great customer service. Curiously we have not had an insect problem, no tomato hornworms, no squirrel damage, and very minor bird damage, maybe six tomatoes. We’ll be buying another unit next Spring.

Great support. Water pump should be easier to adjust and flow more even. Called for help and they stayed on the phone and walked us thru the fix. Also gave us more number to stay in touch if we have a problem. thank you for your help Kim.

Same issue as multiple other people. After a bit over a month, one side of the top simply collapsed, the entire thing toppled over. Waste of rather a lot of money.

I like it, it arrived damaged. It has a crack at the top of the water container. It is covered by the lid, but I don’t know if it will affect the life of the container.

The tank cover broke right away and could not use it.

Looks like the first one I bought except the flimsy center pole is a soft type of plastic tubing which I will swap out fo the rigid PVC pipe.
