Very easy to use and charge/recharge with the proper butane canisters. Ergonomically it fits very well in hand and the angled, elongated torch is great for ease of use, easy to adjust gas flow and flame intensity, plastic body makes it seem not so high quality, but for the price, you can't ask for much more. I have used it for short bouts for glazing a ham, and caramelizing some creme brule, as well as outside the kitchen for some wire soldering work. Great for those smaller tasks, however not sure how it would hold up for any larger projects where you'd need intensity of flame for long periods of time. The only caveat, and I'm not sure if it's common with other small torches or something particular to this unit, but despite having a full charge, no tipping over or angling of the torch, and the flame adjusted to the highest intensity and air flow, the flame would go out mid-use a couple of times so that you have pause what you're doing and reignite the flame with the clicker. Not a huge deal as it's easy to just reignite, but can get annoying when you're in the middle of a project and it's interrupted to reignite the flame. For the price and type of projects you might want a small torch for, it's not a huge deal, but if you're looking for something where flame consistency and duration is more important, there might be better options out there. It's really the only reason for the 3 stars.

This is my 2nd one, 1st was OK and I would change it to 5 stars BUT this one........I use it to kill scorpions and they don't normally wait around too long once they know the sights are on them. You really don't want them to get going very far BUT this one spits out too much gas and is hard to ignite and if you move it whilst it is lit it will go out so sometimes you lose the scorpion and this being breeding season you want to keep track of them (they carry their babies on their back and babies sting is awful)

I've only used this once, so far, but it worked great. It's a good product for the price. The only drawback is that it doesn't have an indicator for the amount of fuel. But for half the price, I'll give up the indicator.

Easy to use, versatile, & safe. The product had no problems. My only issue was that I did not know that it did not come with the butane or instructions on how to fill it. Otherwise loved the item.

I was looking for a torch with a stronger flame. This does the job. Good to ignite liquor I use when cooking. It allows me to stand back from the big poof of flame that shoots up. Also good for brûlées.

It came with no gas so it made me kinda confuse and now I have to buy gas for it. But the quality is pretty good, look exactly like in the picture, and pretty light too, I like it

Works as advertised, though the flow knob is very finicky and not very responsive. It has like three settings: off, kind of on but feels like it's about to die, and dragon's breath.

I ordered the product because of many positive reviews and received it at the end of February. I used it the first time on 6 cream brûlées and it worked fine I tried using it again today for the second time, but the copper ring around the burner just felt out in less than 10 seconds. The torch was extinguished immediately. I tried to put it back in place several times but it could not hold for 2 seconds every time. It was particularly embarrassing when this happened in front of my guests! To be honest, it is very difficult to imagine such a low quality product could have received this high rating! Very disappointed!
