I like it!
The PKEQ48 is just what I needed for hauling my band equipment with the tall uprights on either end. Just so you know, the distance between the uprights is 40 inches. First thing I did was load it up with my equipment to make sure it was going to support and perform as needed. It had no problem handling the 200+ pounds I put on it. The bigger wheels look to be almost 2 inches in width which should handle the more rough types of terrain. It's probably a good idea to tighten the two locking lugs on the bottom rails. When you extend or collapse the cart some spring loaded nubs click in place making you think it's ready to go but I believe the lugs still need to be tightened especially if hauling a heavy load. I have no problems or reservations with this cart doing what I need it to do. It does compact down to about 24 inches. The wheels don't fold up but it wouldn't be as sturdy if they did. Right price, good build, right size for me.

Initial Report
I had this cart out for its initial gig schlep last weekend. Loaded it with about 150 pounds of gear and embarked on a long walk from a parking structure, rolling over concrete, maneuvering into and out of a very small elevator, down a long carpeted hallway to the stage. I was very impressed with the cart's handling and sturdiness. It seems to be very well built. I can see where smashing into a curb or trying to bounce down steps with a full load could be an issue but with common sense the cart should last a long time. The only issue I found was with the plastic end caps on the bottom of the handles. If you step down on the release bar with normal pressure the caps will hit the cross-frame and pop off. It really doesn't matter because the caps have no real function. Outside of that the cart is a great item.

This cart is a Pyle of garbage
I bought this cart in February 2026 and after only using it a handful of times, by April this cart's front wheel frame bent from use. I never carry anything close to the rated weight, usually about 60-100lbs max yet the cart could not handle the load. I reached out to Pyle customer service and they told me to send them a photo of the damage, my invoice, and my address and they'd either repair the cart or replace it. I did all of the above and they then ghosted me. Never responded back to me and ignored any follow-up emails I sent them. I ended up purchasing another cart but from Rockville (they're on Amazon too). Their cart has metal fins that are welded onto the frame where the wheels are, adding extra support. If purchasing a cart, be sure to look for added support to the wheel frame welds because it will bend over time like this Pyle cart did. Very disappointed with their customer support. They strung me along like they were going to help, only to ghost me.

Lasted 3 years of heavy use. It's cheap and tough, but not long-term. Look elsewhere for 5+ years.
Solid cart that served me well under heavy use, carried tons of camera gear across all kinds of terrain. Over time, the wear showed: first the end panels loosened, then the extension center pins snapped off, and finally, one of the wheels gave out. It lasted almost exactly 3 years of consistent, rugged use before becoming unusable. I’ve just ordered a replacement. If you're looking for a budget-friendly cart around $100, this is a great option. Please note that it will start to break down over the course of a couple of years. It’s cheap, and for good reason, but it’s definitely good cheap. If you need something to last 5+ years, look elsewhere.

Sturdy and Easy to Use
I've only used this a couple of times but i can say that it's well made. It's much better than a competing product, as I had to return the other after one use. The release mechanism on the Pyle is far superior making it very easy to use. I like the compact size and weight. It makes moving musical equipment a breeze.

Caution, Front wheels need more support and break off.
Love the cart but the front wheels need more support. After using the cart 10-15 times the cart's front wheel frame bent from use. I never carry anything close to the rated weight, usually about 100lbs max yet the cart could not handle the load and the thin metal tube started to rip and bend. I had to screw plates on the tube and frame to still be able to use the cart.

Seems to work pretty well. This idea is great but this version has problems
The Good It really folds down to a small size (I got the large size cart) Very manuveralble. The front wheels spin freely. Carries lots of weight easily The non-skid grips on the bars help keep things from sliding The Bad It's a bear to figure out how to fold down and unfold. You have to do it in the right order or it does not fold down. And you can't make is longer until you unfold it. The wheel with the break gets loose so the break does not work - Can be fixed by tightening it back up, but who carries a wrench with them. There is a small ball-bearing kind of thing in the middle slider that is supposed to keep the cart from opening too far. This stopped working after about a week. I'm not able to fix this. This failure might be partly my fault as I was not using the locking screws to hold it in place. I was just letting the ball bearing kept it in place. This probably was too much stress on it. Over time (about a month and a half of using it two to three times a week) I can feel it getting more rickety. Things are getting loose a wiggle around.

Surprisingly Sturdy and Versatile Cart for All Needs.
The Pyle Adjustable Professional Equipment Multi-Cart is a game changer for anyone needing to move heavy gear or equipment. It’s lightweight, folds easily for storage, and adjusts to different sizes, making it incredibly versatile. Whether I’m hauling music equipment, boxes, or tools, this 8-in-1 cart handles it all with ease. The build quality feels solid, and the wheels glide smoothly even when fully loaded. Extending from 27.5" to over 44", it adapts to your load without fuss. Great for gigs, moving days, or even home projects. A solid investment that saves time and back pain.

Not fragile but easy to maneuver!
I bought it for moving of heavy boxes to the garden house, it’s not fragile, good quality, does what it has to do. Not too light but easy to maneuver and to use.
